Hi I stayed for two weeks last June at the Europa. They are 2 star extremely basic but we enjoyed every minute

The self catering facilities are very basic, no tin open, toaster, kettle. But do not hire anything from the apartment office, as there is a massive hypermarket about 5 minute walk away(anyone will tell you where it is) they sell everything such as toaster for about £5.00

Ther staff are friendly, do not speak much english. The apartments are so relaxed around the pool no one bothers you. There are pool tables and a poolside bar at one end, they do not even seem to mind if you drink your own beer around the pool area.

They are about 5 minute walk from the beach which is also a lovely beach.
On the whole for the price they are a good bet!

Hi Jill. Thanks for your reply. Whereabouts are the Europa apartments? We will bear them in mind for next year. We have made a prov booking at the Safari Park because we will be taking 4 kids with us and there seems to be a lot going on there. Can't wait to get back to Sa Coma, first visited about 16 years ago and returned about 6 years ago. Went to Palma Nova in April with my friend, her 3 girls and my lad. She loves Magaluf/Palma Nova so I am trying to convert her to Sa Coma

oh! don`t worry. when i say bother im talking about a couple of isolated incidents. we spent 3 weeks there in 2003. its a great place. you`ll love it.

im just wondering why 2 weeks in a 4star apartment is £800 in sa coma in a hotel that we know is excellent and £1000 in other resorts.

I am paying £1100 for 2 weeks in august for the vista badia opposite the safari park. The price is the same for the two of them, I looked at 4* apartments in cala dor they wanted £1700. They are a good deal, they only take a 10% deposit at the time of booking and you don't pay the balance till you arrive, and you can cancel upto 2 days before arriving and get you deposit refunded. Its good to come across a company who don't penalise you if you need to cancel.

Hi All. Has anyone been to Sa Coma at the end of October? We fly out on the 20th for a week and wondered how busy it is likely to be (it will be during the school holiday). Also, we were hoping for some decent weather! Thanks. 8)

Hi,

Can anyone who has stayed at the Coma Gran in Sa Coma tell me if there are hairdryers in the apartments? No point in dragging mine along if they have them, more room for shoes

Was there 3 years ago, Don't recall there being any hairdryers.

Hi me and acorncup replied to your post concerning weather in august.

For aircon apartments check out this site http://www.protur-hotels.com/home.php?lng=uk you can book vista badia, palmeres playa through thomson summer sun and safari park apartments through portlands direct or you can book direct with the hotel over the net and of course arrange your own flights. They all have aircon.

Hi Caziann,

Me again, I have stayed at the Palmeras Playa twice before and it has air conditioning and I would say it would be an excellent choice considering the differing ages in your party. It's really handy for the beach and just a short walk from all the main shops and restaurants. I haven't been in August so can't say what the temperatures would be like. :)
