Well where to start!!!! Boogie night has to be the best night of the fortnight of entertainment, and it is also the best show EVER! And many people who have seen the night will agree with me. Basically there are 4 teams, each headed by a member of the entertainment team. The night is then full of dancing, singing and mad antics from everyone, ending with the club dances and a nice surprise at the end 
All of the people get involved, and its one of the highlights of my holiday when I go. I am not sure what day it is on this year 
I think Thursday, but I really really don't know so maybe someone who has already gone could tell you that. It's only on once in the 2 weeks, so hopefully you won't miss it

Thanks for that MYONELOVE, guess what I need to find out now is whether is will be on the Thursday 26th July or the following Thursday. Anybody there now tell me when the next boogie night is so I can work it out!!! thanks
hi - it will be on 26 July as thats the night we arrive and we've worked it out as we were there in May
So, that means it will be on the 9th August? The night after we arrive - our first proper night in the hotel We will be too tired from travelling to enjoy the Wednesday night and probably won't be arriving at the hotel until 8pm-ish anyway. I was hoping it would be the week after, once we're really settled in, but never mind, eh?

its the first time I have used a forum. I might even be logged into the wrong one.but there is only one way to find out so here goes.
me my husband and two kids are going to the san miguel hotel on 11th august for 2wks. kids are boy and girl 13 and 14. is there much for them to do there. and will they have access to the internet. we are in a double room that sleeps four. is the forth a proper bed or camp bed.
I would be greatful of any info or tips.

Boogie nights is tonight and it's our last night, so it will be a great way to end the holiday, - although I will be going home with a hangover.
Another great time has been had by all. Will be home tomorrow afternoon and will be booking straight away for next year.

I think somebody has already gave this answer, but I can't find it But to anybody who has been there this year, is Gervasio (Richie) there at the club bar? Also anyone know of the other bar staff from last year, who is there this time? Many thanks

Gerva is still in the club bar juggling ice cubes etc, also there are two others that were there last year (can't remember their names). Also in the Western, Jose, Pedro, Juan and Tina are still there, along with a couple of others whom once again I can't remember their names.

We had a fantasic time. Yes we will be back next year. I found it better than last year overall as the kids were older this year. the only downside were the Thomsons reps who were c**p, but hey who needs them? No photos at all as my dearly beloved forgot to pack the digi camera so had to buy disposable ones and I haven't got a scanner to send them to you .
Fear not you WILL have a great time.
Read some of the recent hotel reviews and you will see that I am not alone in my opinions about the Thomsons reps. I have sent a strongly worded letter to them so hopefully there might be some better ones when you go. If not don't worry because Zorro et all more than make up for it. Enjoy

micknmill,this will be our 4th time at the beach club.could you tell me if the honey bees are still about for the evening enterainment 
Hi Ibiza sun, - No honey bees this year , but all the 'outside' acts were pretty good this year.
micknill,sorry mate what i meant was the flying honey bees that sting,every year they were there around evining entertainment time
There were only one or two flying about, and they tended to be around tables where people were stock piling drinks. My advice would be to drink your drinks quickly then go and get some more. Keep repeating this process, then if you do get stung you won't feel it!!!
Seriously as has been said before, if people leave half empty drinks all over the place, the wasps and bees which be attracted to them, but we didn't have a problem.
