colinrog-we were there 3 weeks ago and it was beautiful sitting out at night for the entertainment. It never dropped below 23 degrees the whole holiday and can actually get quite warm down at the Western Saloon with all the bodies!
Have a great holiday and beware Jose's slippery nipples!!!!

and yes, there is an iron and ironing board available in the laundrette for you to use-enjoy

Anyone there at the moment?? Want to know if Boogie Nights is on this Thursday (7th) or next (14th). Fear it is the 7th before we get there on the 9th, boo hoo!! Also has anyone used the land train, if so where does it go to?
Also anyone know if Nick is up at the Galeon doing the entertainment with Dimitri? :cheers

hi
we have used the land train twice it is lovely ,one trip goes to portinax and the other goes to san vincent ,both are good ,you travel to sant joan and see the church then go onto the resort and get about 2 hours max to wander around or go for a swim ,the train is lovely and you get a nice breeze as you travel across the island ,on a hot day this is brill .I have taken my daughters on this when they were 2 and 4 and they loved it ,there is a web page for it Ibiza Express i think ? have a lovely time we have been to san miguel 3 times now and love it they are so friendly . :)

Hi Ibiza sun.... we are booked to go to the san mig beach club from leeds / bradford on oct 11th got a really cheap deal £287 AI pp for a week.. weather wise it can get a bit dodgy. Yes it can rain and it can rain heavy but it also can be very pleasent with temps in the high 70s - 80. I have been to menorca and mallorca in october and have been lucky with no rain and temps around 80.

Hi there
Have been to San Miguel hotel several times a few years ago and due to go back next week. Can anybody tell me if men need to wear full length trousers in the dining room in the evening or are shorts ok?
Also, we used to hop across the beach after AI ended and see two guys singing in one of the bars - Paco and his English mate (can't remember his name) but they were great. I don't suppose they're still there or even if anyone has replaced them? Or any other live music anywhere? It was nice to get a bit of grown up entertainmentat the end of the night! :D

you can definatly wear shorts in the dining room,i wonder if the duo you are talking about is called 'me and him didnt see them in san miguel, but have seen them in santa eulalia and es cana.i can recommend the temptations tribute band for a excellent night at san miguel. mo.

Thanks Kath,I had read them but I'm hoping to find out if entertainment is outside and really concerned whether 15 yr old will be bored,we had arranged to go with friends but it looks like we will have to change holiday dates because of school commitments, they live in Manchester so different policies.

we went in july,i really enjoyed the place.took my kids who were 17,13,12 and 6.in all honesty it was perfect for the 6 year old,and the oldest boy enjoyed it,but the middle two did get bored at times, but i think thats just an age thing.it depends how mature your boy is,if he enjoys swimming, water sports etc, chilling out with his ipod, then he will be fine,if he wants wall to wall entertainment, thei i think its pitched to a younger age,but it depends whos there at the time.there are computers in thr foyer,so the kids can msn there mates.he would be safe to wander the complex and beach area.i would go back, but for a lad on his own i would suggest a games consol,or maybe a portable dvd player,or what about him taking a freind.i would definatly stay in the hotel and not the beach club,as i think that that is more suitable for little ones. mo. :)

Hi Mo

Thanks sooo much for your reply,if we had more time to play with we would consider taking a friend but we need to rebook today if possible. We need to change dates but there is no availability at Bahamas in P d bossa so they will try to just charge one admin fee,it is already about £600 more so can't really afford to take a friend cos they would need another room, our son can share but his mate couldn't be expected to.Our friends who we had booked with have 2 boys but they are in Manchester and don't have the same school problems as us.Alex has Playstation with portable screen, psp and lively dad so hoping he will be okay, is the entertainment outside, please, thanks again,T
