Hi
we are considering going to Sharm El Sheikh next Feb ...flights are sorted I think...... ..now looking around for a good 4* or 5 * hotel that will tick the following boxes ;
- Good standard of accommodation , nice views , good position etc
- Good water slides and/ or lazy river
- HEATED outdoor pools
- A/I with good standard of food ALL DAY (not just evening meals) - No reports of bad tummies !
- drinkable drinks that do not take an age to get from the bar, or waiter.
- good kids clubs
- within reasonable distance to the airport (no more than half an hour)
...oh yes one last thing...absolute no campbeds !!!!!!!!
I have been looking at the Grand Azure... but have been rather put off by the reports of bad tummies and drinks service being poor ? anyone want to confirm or deny this ?
Any suggestions / comments would be appreciated.
We will be there in 14 days
Sharm is not as bad as Dom Rep for food poisioning
at Sharm it's just upset tummies usually
Check out your travel agents website you will find something just don't expect fantastic nightlife in resort
If you are going to theGrand Azure PLEEEEAZE post a trip report when you get back won't you!
..............and could you also also see how the hotel compares against my personal checklist !
Have a great holiday
Sorry meant we are off to Sharm in 13 days we are in the Grand OASIS
We visited the Movenpick Jolie Ville in Naama Bay (Casino) it was excellent but the pool is fairly bog standard although heated. Perhaps the Movenpick Golf resort is better as it has a slide and lazy river.
