we are arriving late July and staying in what looks like a lovely Villa, the only small downside is it is out near Grand Hotel Callao and a brisk walk to anywhere. We are not drivers but that is no big deal we want quiet and can walk downhill and taxi back.
Just wondering what hypermarket is nearby or cheap taxi nearby or even bus come to that.
Our intention is to bulk shop for our 14 days, soft drinks, fridge/freezer and general stuff. We can do bread milk daily or so at little supermarkets. How much of a walk is it really downhill to centre Callao?
Any good bars that can be recommended. I not the typical tourist in fact I want to avoid Las Americas type life. I am not knocking it but it just isn't for me and that is why I am in Callao Sajvaje. I just want a nice bar be it Spanish/British/Irish or anything owned so long as we can have a laugh and a great time. What is the typical closing times of bars.
So looking forward to 2 weeks time and away from all this damn rain
