Tenerife has loads of shops. ZARA has a fine new store, you will easily find it.

Be very careful of the :electrical:shops. Get prices at home before you travel. There are a lot of very dodgy merchants-if it seems too good to be true-it usually is,

Mango is good as well as Zara. Also a great little shop called Mischief near to Burger King at Starco and one called Miss Denis near the Peking Palace. My daughter just spent a fortune there!

ok thanks for all your advice, think we'll wait till we get there and that way if she doesn't see anything she likes she can buy when we get back. can't wait!! 8 days and counting

tyr the main sity they have some lovely shops there and if it si shops like Mango, Zara, Stradvarious, they also have a Carte De Ingles Department store where they do Baby Phat clothes, all the labels that your 16 year old might like and wil defo heard of and theya re a fraction of the cost here

I went mad in carte De Ingles and Mango as the prices were ridiculous compared to waht we pay here in the UK, for the desiganer label clothes, but this was in the capital of tenerife which was quite a bus ride away from PLA.
