Hey i go to sidari next week so im not sure what to expect but ill try and make time to post a reply here. In general though im pretty sure there is a lively part of sidari but most hotels and appartments are a bit away from the bars and restraunts so it should still be peacefull.

I'd have a really good read of some of the resort reports to make sure it's what you'd like (and bearing in mind many people want different things out of a resort)

There're other resorts to browse also

You might like San Stefanos maybe?

Sidari IS lively and doesn't suit some people.

I suggest you consider a resort such as Agios Stefanos NW which a quieter place but with ample tavernas, restaurants etc and has a nice beach.

hi, i have been to sidari now four times, going again in july :D .
the main strip is busy but there are quieter bars, and restaraunts around the canal area which i prefer anyway.

Sidari is lively on the strip, the canal d-mur area is more quieter, there is everything for every age at Sidari, if you want quiet you get it, lively you get it, Roda is more quieter just down the road, this will be my 4th year back in august, we stay at the Lagoon Apartments just off the strip, lovely people, great atmosphere, friendly, they all are in Sidari, my 7 year old loves it, hope this helps, Roda is nice, but a lot quieter, so maybe have a look at Roda.

Sidari is very diferent from Alikanas/Alikes. Very Blackpool'ish. Considering the things you like on holiday, I'd look elsewhere if I were you.

the lively part only lasts for 250 yds then it fizzles out to quieter bars and restraunts its not to lively but its there if you want it just come back great resort great place stayed at stemma 2 10 mins walk to center perfect plus later on at night doors have to shut and volume lowered as ther are hotels smack bang in the middle
something for every one peice if you want it buzzing night life if you wanna be up all night
myself a bit of both works just fine :tup

Hi i just arrived back from sidari today. Im 18 and i was on my last family holiday. I got to admit it was really quiet, most of the hotels and appartments are. The nighlife in sidari again is quiet, there are 2 or 3 bars and that is the whack for clubbers there is also 2 nighclubs that open from 1 and finish at 6 or 7 in the morning, the rest is all catered towards a family holiday. I would reccomend it for families.

Hi Keiley,

Sidari is much more livelier than Alykanas or Lassi. It is a family resort and some accomodation is at the quieter ends. For me personally it is rather like Blackpool, which is fine if you like that type of holiday, although I am sure there are quieter parts.

I prefer the South/West coast of the island, great beaches, more traditional and laid back!

Enjoy wherever you decide to go! Corfu is a lovely Island!
