Hi all
Just got a few questions on the above trip.
Singapore:
Money- Cash, ATM, Credit card or travelers cheques?
Any views on the Sha Villa?
Best places to eat? To avoid?
Kuala Lumpur
Money- Cash, ATM, Credit card or travelers cheques?
Any views on the Swiss Garden?
Have a reservation for the Kuala Lumpur tower - has anyone tried the restaurant?
Are the petronus towers worth going up?
Koh Samui
Money- Cash, ATM, Credit card or travelers cheques?
Professional Photographer - Any recommendations?
Any views on Lipa Noi Beach? Big Johns?
Many many thanks!
I find the downside of using BAnks and Travellers CHeques in this part of the world is the amount of time you spend in the bank going through the red tape. Having said that you do get a good rate of exchange with TC's especialy in Thailand and exchange facilities are plentiful. Plent of ATM's in Singapore and KL.
KL.
Have eaten in the revolving restaurant in KL tower - a pleasant enough meal and fantastic views of the city, both during the day and at night. Petronas Towers are free to go up, but you only get to go to the Skybridge which is only about half way up. I think you have to turn up in the morning to get your free ticket...sometimes busy sometimes quiet its the luck of the draw.
