I have it in my head that somewhere in the Troodos mountains there is a workirishng monastry where the monks make wine. This may sound a little crazy, perhaps I had too much wine when I heard about it but does this place actually exist as I would like to go there. Any help would be much appreciated.

The monastery you are thinking of would be the Kykko Monastery It produces
red and white wines which are supposed to be very good although I haven't
tried any of them

Thats great, thanks very much Helen - two weeks today we will be having our first nightl in Paphos and can't wait.

Feels great dosen't it Kath. Been nearly a whole year since we booked as we were there the same two weeks last year and and booked again nearly as soon as we returned home. It's nice to be counting days now rather than weeks or months. I am in need of the annual cyprus fix.
