I was there with my daughters in July and had a great time - i have posted a review if you want to take a look
We were in a room on the Luna side and I would suggest you request the same ( most of the complaints about the rooms are for those on the Mares side)
Our room was basic , dated but clean and spacious. The issues that the hotel recently experienced seemed to have started when we were out there ( not our fault , honest !!) but I am sure they are resolved now. Food again basic but plentiful, however they did run out of somethings on some days.
Beach is amazing and staff friendly .
We went on the overnight trip to Santiago , worth every minute and every penny SMa is your expert here.
