No problem, hope you like them
( PS. I've read review page but wondered if anyone may know about it that hasn't posted on the review page! )
Its in a brill spot handy to everything .the staff are great and the lady on the desk is so so nice
its not a bad hotel and I would go again if I got a good deal .......the only thing was when we got there that morning we had to pay for A/C and it said on our invoice that we had already paid but they would not give us our room to we paid it again ....we never did get it back inspite of writing to Thomas cook ..the lady on the desk was so upset by it all she kept saying it was not her fault bless her ...
The food was great ..the breakfast was better than some other hotels we have stayed in ..so to me it was fine and I would go back again ...........if you need to know anything else ...JPH77 just ask me forgot to say the A/C was £50 in our money thats what we had to pay ............colleen
How much do you reckon a 'good deal' would be for 2 weeks, over New Year? I'm keeping my eye on the prices but not sure when to 'pounce'!
Cheers!
jph77 I dont think there is such a thing as a good deal over the christmas new year time ..from what I read in the forum you are talking a grand to go at that time of the year ...maybe someone will tell you in here how much it would be we always go in November .......colleen
Oh I see, so anything around the £650 mark should be classed as a good deal then?!
what date is that for is it over christmas and the new year ......
it's departing 29th, we want to be at home for Christmas but away anytime after 27th.
Oh so christmas will just be over ...but you would be there for the new year ..im told it is brill on new years eve .....someday I will be there for news year I live for that day .....have you been to goa before jph77
no never been to Goa before
do you mind my asking your age .......you will love it but its older folk like me who go most
I'm 31!
You will like the night clubs then its good you will love it everything is for nothing in goa ,,,,you could get by on 200 quid for the 2 weeks ..a bottle of gin is £1 30 ..and a bottle of whisky is 80p
I'm just about past nightclubs but me n the missus like it fairly lively, we love eating out & indian food No1 for us both!
If you get it for around the 600 quid mark I would say that deffo good ..Calangute is a bit busy but thats the way we like it hubby and I like people watching so you could not go to a better place ....tell your lovely wife she has to know she is in for a shock ..but after about 3 days she will get over it and love the place ...colleen
I've had a quote of £620 each today from the travel agents so I might book that tomorrow then!
£600 odd pounds is very good for that time of the year ......
She's prepared for all that but I'm sure it'll be an eye-opener to start with, til she gets on the £1.30 gin!
