So the Kiroseiz is across the road from the St George? Can you use facilities at both the hotels????
Reply
yes you can use both facilities. The beach resort is fab and the snorkelling in unreal!!

No the Kiroseiz is NOT across the road from St George - it is a taxi ride away - not walking distance - the Kiroseiz is nearer Naama Bay, the St George is a lot further away. We stayed at St George and returned on 11th August - still a fantastic hotel. whatever.

sorry, but you are talking about the Kiroseiz hotel and i am talking about the Kiroseiz beach resort, which is just across the road from Fantasia, which is a few yards from St George Hotel, i stayed at the Kirosiez beach resort, we used to walk to Fantasia and St Georges hotel, Kirosiez hotel ia a short bus ride away. I stayed there for two weeks in June, not imagining it, honest!!

Dawantra,

When did you stay at Kiroseiz Beach then? Kiroseiz Beach and Kiroseiz Hotel are two different places, of course, you probably did not know this did you?

Dawntr here, I may be getting confused here. Is it the Three Corners Chain. I stayed at the Three Corners St Georges which was the sister hotel of the Three Corners Kiroseiz, so please excuse me if I got this totally wrong.

Hi Dawntra, looked for you the whole of my second week. Hope you had a good hol. Can't believe all the complaints - a lot of these people are talking about a completley different hotel!!! All 8 of us enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The only thing that spoilt it for us was rude, ignorant people that spoke to the staff like s***. The only thing thay wanted tyo do on their hols was complain. Thats not what we went for and all 8 of us had a great holiday.

Annie, hi, yes I kept my ears open and eyes peeled for you too and totally agree with what you say. What was your room number? I was 1007, ground floor, near the main restaurant - brilliant. Yes we were giggling about everyone complaining - I couldn't believe it. Yes I had the delhi belly but for one day which is much shorter than I normally get. My hubby suffered a few more days but you just get on with it. Food brilliant, drinks (especially the draft Sakara lager was delicious) staff (from the maintenance staff to management) were very polite and helpful. I had such a great time at this hotel, next year I am going to try the sister hotel Kiroiez (think that is the spelling). But would certainly recommend St Georges. Even if you play the bingo with the Egyptian pens - very funny.

going to this hotel on thursday if anyone has been could you tell me if they hav hairdryers in room as well as irons for hire trying to keep weight down on luggage but lady of the house insists on taking kitchen sink and all manner of daft stuff .we only hav 20kg allowance and handluggage is none so trying to save money and space
Reply
berties honey,

They don't have hairdryers or irons in the room. But you are able to get these from reception. I never had to pay any money either. Just ask when you get there, as I had to wait 2 days, which wasn't a problem. Just hang your clothing up as soon as you get there. You will love the place.

cheers for that dawntra just started packing, my gears in the corner of the suitcase hers is in the rest she,s still taking the hairdrier cos its got a turbo on it wish the car had we would get to the airport quicker

berties honey,

Just to let you know their hairdryers are very good and powerful I was quite surprised - mind you in Egypt you only have to stand outside for 5 minutes and your hair is dry anyway.

If you can try and get one of the pool facing rooms (if there is just you two), we had room 1007, right by the lobby bar, pool bar and restaurant - ground floor - right by the towel man and perfect for getting out to put your towels down - you have to be quick. The patio doors leading out the pool are reflecting doors - you can see out but nobody can see in (so you don't have to shut your curtains/wrap yourself up when coming out the shower) - perfect. I am soooo jealous. Have a good one.

hi,off to this hotel in 2 weeks. Can anyone tell me if the safety deposit boxes are in the room or tucked away elsewhere? Also, does the hotel give a good exchange rate? One more question, does the hotel have an atm so I can get money if I need more!!!!!Thanks Helen :D
Reply
Helen,

Safe deposits are very secure and safe - your own combination so no key needed, it is like a small vault (and you don't have to pay to use it). The hotel rate isn't too bad but there is a very small type shop classed as a bank in the lobby opposite the information boards, his rate was much better. There is an ATM but I never used but I never heard any complaints about charges etc. Any more questions just ask.

Hello everyone! :wave

My friend and I are staying at the St George from 18th November to 25th November. I have only ever been to Egypt once last December and stayed at the Radisson SAS Resort in Taba. :yipee

I have a few questions....

Would anybody who has been to this hotel recommend it for me and my friend as I am 20yrs and my friend 21yrs old. :sun

We are basically just after a week of relaxing in the sun with an all inclusive bar and restaurant

Are there many activities in the day time around the pool?
What time does All Inclusive end, and if you wish, can you purchase drinks after this time?
How far is St George's beach? and would you recommend this?
Can you hire snorkelling equipment when you are there?
Is there much entertainment in the evening? Such as people dancing or belly dancing or anything to keep us amused? :)

Sorry for the list of questions, just very anxious after reading some reviews

Ooooh also, did anyone stay in a twin room? If so, what were they like please?

Look forward to hearing your replies :ghug

Jenny :bow xx :thanks
