I was doing really well until yesterday and the dreaded time of the month...yesterday and today i've only ate things which scream fat and calories
43 weeks today...i need to get my finger outta my backside and lose this 4 stone!!
I'm not going to classes either Leanne so my weekly weigh in is going to be Sundays with you lot!! Scales said 11stone 3lbs today and my club 10 last time I was at slimmers world was 10stone 9lbs which I was 2lbs off at the closest so that is my aim for my holidays which means I have 6 weeks to lose 10lbs
ah well i'll try harder! i'm actually starting to think i might have an underactive thyroid because i spend my life complaining that i'm cold and tired aswell as ballooning in weight (from 8 1/2 stone to 13 stone in 3 1/2 years) and i'm really struggling to lose it, but i refuse to go on holiday this size...REFUSE I TELL YE!!!
I know the feeling! I was always between 8 to 8 1/2 stone when I met my husband 12 years ago. We moved in together and after a year I had to join slimmers world with my mam and I got down to 9 1/2 stone. I thought it might be the pill so I stopped taking it and after not taking it for over 8 years I can safely say that was not what caused my weight gain I joined SW class with my mam again 2 years ago to lose some weight after having my little boy Caleb and got within 2lbs of my club 10 but had to stop going to class as I changed my working hours and days. So I havent really done that bad since leaving class in May 09 at 10 stone 11 lbs and we did have a fortnight in Cyprus in July . I have bought the fitness dvd by Claire out of steps as I found her programme quite motivating all I have to do now is try it out and get off the settee
I was wrong to feel massive yesterday though, because I restarted scottish slimmers on Wednesday, ate sensibly wednesday and thursday, went a bit off with a KFC on Friday, alcohol on Friday night, ate absolute rubbish all day and night saturday, same again yesterday...and i'm 13st 5 & 3/4lb today!!! Don't know how I did it either because I only started on Wednesday and on top of the rubbish food i've got my monthlies, so i'm bloated aswell!
Ah well just means i can hope for a stonking weight loss next monday lol

What exactly is the difference between scottish slimmers and slimmers world? If you can eat all that and still lose I need to try it out Well done by the way
weighed in today for the start point..... I am not going to mention what i weigh, but i have gained 10lb's and want to lose around 9kg's which is roughly 19lb's... I have 16 weeks to do this. I have declared my situation as critical, lol, as my jeans dont fit me apart from one pair See you all next Monday and thanks for the welcome
As an example of how much you can eat, last wednesday I had:
BREAKFAST: 30g of crunchy nut cornflakes with milk & a cup of tea = 6 checks
LUNCH: a tuna & onion baguette with a tiny drop of salad cream, an aero chocolate mousse and a cadburys mini roll = 16 checks
DINNER: 3 fish fingers, 100g of morrisons seasoned oven fries and 1/3 can of spaghetti as my = 19 checks
which left me 9 checks to play with, but if you've got a night out or whatever coming up you can save checks each day for that, plus you're allowed 250ml of skimmed milk or 125ml of semi-skimmed milk a day for free (no extra checks) and 2 servings of fruit for free aswell, plus most veggies are free too! i'm never hungry and i've usually got checks to spare each day, which means I could have a 30g serving of cereal for my supper aswell if i felt so inclined!

It does sound similar to Slimmers we have sins normally between 10-15 per day but you can save them for a big weekend treat. There is lots of free food depending on red or green days I tend to stick to green days as pasta, rice and potatoes are free. fruit and veg are free on both days. red days any meat or fish is free as long as fat is removed. milk is the same as you said and counts as a healthy A and cheese, wholemeal bread and cereal plus other things have to measured as a healthy B. I have 2 weetabix as you dont have to bother weighing them anything for an easy life
lol! pretty similar then! all diet drinks are free aswell...i'm going through diet coke like its going out of fashion!
Ha ha me too! My vice is boiled eggs which are free food too I boil a few and keep them in the fridge then while I'm cooking dinner or absolutely starving I have one with a touch of VLF mayonaise or salt rather than crisps or shock horror white bread with butter and brown sauce!!
ah my mum does that with the boiled eggs aswell lol!
Well I took a wholemeal pitta bread with asdas tikka breast pieces and salad in it for my dinner at work and I had to just eat the pittabread as the filling was like cardboard . Lucky I took a grapefruit and a muller light yoghurt in my bait box too. Text my hubby to say horrible and he had a chicken breast with cheese and bacon and salad ready for my tea and he let me have a couple of his chips Have just boiled 6 eggs so I think I will have smelly egg sandwiches for dinner tomorrow at least I know they wont let me down
Well I stayed the same but time of the month so hopefully should see a change next Sunday and hopefully it will be a loss
Afternoon! This is my 1st weight loss log entry- I have lost 2lb's this week and am happy with that. I have worked harder than usual though so would have liked a bit more off but any loss is a good loss i suppose.!
well i lost 1 & 3/4 lbs today! so thats me lost 4 3/4lb in a week and a half! have decided i'm gonna start counting the 1/4, 1/2 & 3/4 lbs now as it all adds up!
Well done!! Well my husband took me to an all you can eat for £5.99 today!! Back on plan tomorrow 2x weetabix+a cup of tea for breakfast, 1 red grapefruit for 1st break, chicken sandwiches+mullerlight for lunch and steak and salad for tea. RED day!! 4 weeks this Sunday for my holidays so got to be good
Nice to see people old and new on the thread.
I have been 'sort of' continuing with SW but struggle when off work so will be glad when the schools are back next week. I am in a few days this week so determined to be very good.
I put on 5lb while on holiday in Cyprus - all that bread and wine and cocktials. I lost half of it last week but nothing this week so Day 1 today.
I need to lose the weight I gained plus some more to get back to the lower end of my target.
Breakfast was a piece of melon and some All Bran with strawberries.
Lunch will be a quorn salad and I have fruit/yoghurt to eat during the day.
EM will probably be Moroccan Butter Beans.
Going to watch my syns - allowing myself 10 per day.

Well I have bought some couscous to try out :I think I have been quite good this week but we are at a christening this Sunday so are staying at Seahouses for the long weekend I will have to weigh in on Saturday or Tuesday this week and muck my whole routine up!
