God not looking forward to the sun village apartments now. We have a 10,13.14,nd16 year old coming with us. Going next monday a bit of a downer now...................

A family that was coming with us on the 17july have been informed by budget travel that they are being moved from these apartments as block b and c are unfinished and unsafe. Has anyone else been moved. They are moving them to the plazzo apartments 2 and half miles from the resort. We are booked into sun village as well but have heard nothing. thanks

Find that strange as the first week it opened in May we were in block A and there were loads of people staying in B & C too. Get on to the company and ask for an explaination.

Has anyone else been moved out of sun village apartments. Heard that this plazzo hotel is nothing only a building site,suppose to be going on monday.............dreadfull state of affairs

We went to sunny beach 19th June and were also informed two days before departure that we would be moved due to overbooking, we kicked up a stink and eventually stayed at sun village. Everybody else on our flight due to go to Sun Village were moved to The Sands and it was so bad that they demanded to be moved again.

Sun Village apartements were ok clean and spacioue we had two bedroom maids very pleaseant location terrible Budget travel rep absolutely useless.

It's a little worrying to hear that blocks B and C at Sun Village are unsafe as we returned from Sun Village last Saturday (15th July) after staying in block C for two weeks.

There were so many "teething" problems with these apartments, having to go to reception every day, for ten days to request someone to come and fix the boiler, so that we could have hot water, the toaster didn't work and we reported it twice, then it only toasted on one side so we gave up. We saw several guests walking to reception with toasters.

I think our apartments were "cleaned" twice, the furniture on the balcony was covered in dirt and the balcony was filthy. We saw pool side balconies being cleaned, but ours was not. Towels have to last you 3 days.

I could write pages on the state of the bathroom, but beside the boiler not working, it dripped condensation on you whilst sat on the toilet. We were told by reception that all the boilers were the same.

Anyway, I don't want to spoil anyone's holiday like our's was spoilt. The two new Thompson reps. Natalie and ? were doing everything in their power to sort out the problems (but too late for us)!!!!!

apologies if this is posted somewhere else.........(waiting for abuse for not using the search function(but i did look)) but is there a supermarket on site? or is there one close by??

You picked exactly the right place to post your question, there's precious little information about this new development, but the small print on THIS website might suggest there are 'shopping facilities' on site/nearby.
Supermarkets as we know them - unlikely, mini-markets selling a limited range of foodstuffs such as bread, cheese, ham, salami, breakfast cereals and snacks - yes.

we stayed at these apts in May 2006. Supermarket could be seen from the reception area with a larger one ready to open just after we left on 30.05. We stayed in block C and they were most def finished. Only teething problems then which were being sorted out daily. Cant imagine there would be any problems now

well after reading that information on the sunvillage appartments has put a right downer on my hols, you wud expect a few hiccups but not dirty balconys and faulty boliers all i hope is that when we go that every think is sorted as ive been really looking forward to this holiday since last october we are due to fly out on the 11th of august so fingers crossed.Also i picked my tickets up today and i asked the question about these appartments being over booked and thomson have no messages on them being over booked has anyone any info to what i shud do if this happens to us what are our rites all replies would be greatly appreciated its bad enough traveling with 2 teenage daughters but its even harder when one of them has specil needs so fingers crossed all goes well mant thanks christine

Click on site then select sunny beach in Destination panel. then click on sunny beach, scroll down to hotels. hope this helps. tonyt
