you will probably get one in resort, check the markets.
some of the larger manufactuers have factorys in turkey and alot are sent over to sell at cheaper prices, most are originals sold as fakes.
the producer just makes a few more and sells them to exporters or traders to bump up his profit.
there a loads of posts on it on here ,take a look.

Hi all!! hope you all have a lovely holiday in sun village as we did . yes they do have a few teething problems dont let small things like that put you off !!our boiler didnt work the first day the handyman came up and pressed the red button and it worked !!i think it has a trip switch or something like that . just turn it off and then back on and it will work fine !!
we booked through budget travel and asked for ground floor with pool view because of vertigo sufferer and got 3rd floor with a view of local bulgarian houses!! asked to be moved and was tolded tomorrow so didnt unpack bags !!same answer for 3 days so gave up on them !!
the apartments are beautilful and very big with iron, ironing board, mini bar and cable tv . be careful with the littles ones at night as my 11 yr old son

tuned into porn and we nearly died !! red faces all round !!
we had a two bed apt with bath room (wet room)and ensuite .carefull because the floor gets v slippy . !.my 3 yr old son had a few falls !!also they toilets in cafe bar (pool bar)are slippy !!my little lad slipped and banged his little chin on toilet !!poor soul !!
if you turn right at the gates and walk through izola parridise hotel there is a big suppermarket there !it wasnt opened when we were there but should be now !! or if you walk straight past condor gardrens (great place )passed sharkeys and down the road there is a place where you can get a lot of supplys for self catering .it looks like on old building but i believe they food is for nothing !!locals shop there !! we didnt bother as eating out is so cheap !!dyannys the best !!!
a quick way to get to the beach front is to turn left out the car park gate and cross the main road (careful its v busy )walk between oasis and perla hotels carpark and walk down a bit and you come out at chaika beach ! lovely pizza bar in a castle . kids loved it !! a bit more expensive down at beach front but still v cheap !! pizzas are to die for !!
hope this info helps you all and hope you all have a fab time !! dont forget your holiday is what you make it !! dont be put off by little problems !!
sunny beach is fab and will return with 4 familys next year !!

Hi,

We are a family of four and have recently returned from Sun Village and would reassure people going here that these are very good apartments. I would say they are potentially 3 star but the newness and additional items such as iron, toaster etc would make it a 4 star currently. The kids entertainment during the day was great as the entertainer (Marcella) really put much effort in. We did have a couple of minor probs such as sink plugs faulty and having to chase up management for clean towels however all resolved quickly. The staff in my opinion were friendly enough. I have seen the comments on this forum that they are ignorant and can hardly speak English. We have to remember that this is a developing area and we are in their country therefore the ignorance and lack of understanding is also on our part too. Everyone staying at this complex were British and the one downside is that the sun loungers were being draped with towels from 7am as is typical of us British as we have clearly now surpassed our German friends in this selfish act.
In terms of Sunny Beach itself, vast beach front and sea is brilliant, the promenade is as per any holiday, British style bars all over the gaffe, the designer clothes etc are all fake and do look fake however if you are prepared to wear fake items then you will get them at a good price. In terms of restaurants here is some good and unusual advice- Find restaurants which are not overly busy to eat in. The reason I say this is that in the busy restaurants like Djannys and Condor, staff worked at an extremely fast pace and for that food quality was absolutely compromised and my bowels, which have never been affected as long as I can remember, took a battering on both occasions. I see people recommend Djannys and I can understand as it looks nice and is busy and cheap and that would tell its own story in the uk however its fast food gone mental. Exercise caution with both these restaurants. A good restaurant was James Joyce and also the Castle restaurant on the sea front although not as cheap. You will pay about £16 for a meal for family of four which is good.
Remember to visit Nessebar as its the village next door to sunny beach and is very quaint and gives you a feel of the Bulgarian culture.
All in all I am pleased with Sun Village apts. If you are going in the near future I am sure you will enjoy it, if you read some of the other posts and are going obsessively looking for problems in your apartment then you might find them as you would if you went with the same mindset to a five star but if you are going to genuinely enjoy your holiday then you will.
Sunny Beach -- you can get the same experience in Canaries, Mainland Spain, Greece etc and is very much commercialised. We are ok with these type of holidays as it keeps the kids well occupied but some people might hope that going to Sunny Beach Bulgaria might be distinctly different.

Enjoy.

went to sunny beach on 19/08/06.arrived at airport thomsons rep told us to report to reps desk where we was imformed we had been transfered to a different hotel.only five mins away from sun village.later only to find we were 2 miles away. the hotel palazzo over looked a building site and you had to cross a road which made the m1 look gentle there was no crossing and no lighting and no pavements. there was two restaurants ten mins away and one bar 15 mins away near the beach. next morning at welcoming meeting we were told it was sun villages fault and the same thing had happened to loads of people over the last few weeks.after four days the rep tessa told us we would be moved along with another family. to finish on a good note sun village was brilliant and every thing we expected.action waterparks a must and ancient nessebar is well worth the effort.

hi. got back from sunny beach two weeks ago. stayed at sun village apartments. When we first arrived insted of being in a room for six people we had two rooms and were on the opposite side of the hotel to our friends which we booked for a room next to each other. The bathroom floor flooded everytime you had a shower, the boiler dripped on you when you were on the toilet. word of advice dont put your toilet roll on the holder if your boiler is above it, it gets soaking, leaving you with no toilet roll for the day, not good if you suffer with "needing the toilet many times" on holidays. The varnish on the chairs by the restaurant comes off on your clothes if the chairs are sticky so be careful. MAKE SURE YOUR PINT OF LAGER HAS NO FLOATIE BITS, my fiance had many pints like this but luckily i didnt. If you do have floaties just take it back the staff are more than happy to give you a new one. The maids are very childish as they are only about sixteen, you hear them running around in the mornings giggling and screaming. If your not an early bird the maids come in to clean your room anyway, even if you dont answer the door to them. My sister was asleep one morning so they cleaned around her but had the cheek to stand at the bottom of the bed to watch her sleeping. The walk out into the main town wouldnt be bad at all if you didnt have to walk back in the pitch black. i read many reviews before i went saying you have to walk along a dirt track when really it is a road that is very dirty (dont wear long skirts or trousors) and pitch black at nights. Other than all them problems it is a nice place to stay. the restaurant staff were nice and the childrens entertainer was very good with the children. listen to the club song, very funny. if you listen carefully the words say something about "on holiday, gone ride you,im a pyschopath, im a moron."ha ha ha. all restaurants in the main town are nice but i wouldnt recomend djannys, all of our family felt sick after eating there, dont know if it was just us. but the food is very very cheap in djannys - explains the long queue outside.
but dont let me put you off sun village anyway, decide for yourself - different people have different opinions and it all depends on what kind of holiday you like at the end of the day.please write to let me know what you think.
