I've not heard of them sorry ... I must admit I'm always nervous if I see a firm with "4U" in it because there was a firm about 18 months ago that was running a bogus firm with this phrase in its title...I'm not saying its this one, but do look into the firm carefully before you commit your money.
Thanks i will stick with travel republic, there seems to be a few people recommend them,or freedom direct.First time diy for me so want to make sure all is secure.
Have a look also at Findmeaccomm.com - have used them many times and also Sky Travel.
Thanks for replys, what about cresta..... they are bonded i think.xl are no good to me they do'nt fly from my local airport.
Yes Cresta Holidays are definately bonded.
We have never had a problem with freedom direct so we stick to what we know & i find they are about the cheapest around for the sake of a few pounds. Cheers Jayjan
I have just booked a holiday to Benidorm for this Summer with this company. They are agents of Jumbo tours in Spain. The price was excellent. All info been sent to me. I now hold my breath that all goes well. Was £200 cheaper than going through travel agent. Anna
Hi when you say this company, are you meaning sun4u?
With my latest booking I will also get 3% off my next booking.
Hi, I have been and back on a holiday with accomodation booked through travel republic and at the top of the accomodation voucher was hotels4u and everything was fine so don't worry
Whilst this company (sun4u) are genuine I always find them to be more expensive, they seem to quote a figure which is crossed out and then quote a cheaper price which is still more expensive.
Just for the record though, I have used all of the following companies and thankfully all of these have been genuine:-
http://www.find-rooms.com
http://www.go2spain.co.uk
http://www.alpharooms.com
http://www.findmeaccom.com
http://www.findspainrooms.com
http://www.flightline.co.uk
http://www.ulookubook.com
http://www.somewhere2stay.com
http://www.apartmentsabroad.co.uk
So if anyone sees any good deals with these companies I can confirm they are genuine.
Its worth remembering though that even though a company may be genuine that they may not have any protection in the event of insolvency so always worth booking on your credit card as quite often this provides some level of protection. This is also the case with a lot of airlines including Ryanair, easyjet, Jet2.com and the scheduled arms of Monarch and Thomsonfly amongst many many others.
Cheers
Mark
I have just returned from Malgret de Mar on the Costa Brava, a last minute booking with my friend through Sun4U. Absolutely brilliant, no gliches, everything went smoothly. Would heartily recommend this company. Am now looking to go to Italy with them later in the year.

My friend booked a golfing holiday for 5 days with this company to playa de aro, they phoned yesterday evening telling him that the hotel was overbooked and that there was nothing he could do. Staff put the phone down on myself on several occassion because they couldn't deal with the problem. Their customer service manager a (name removed) was a waste of space. He was held until 2 hours prior to his departure not knowing what was happening. We had to constantly express that golf had been pre arranged and tee times had also. They were moving him 30 miles away to another resort. Being persistent and telling them that we were not willing to move paid off. But it's not worth the hassle, my friend has went on holiday totally stressed. Please, please, please look at other tour operators I personally recommend
Expedia or a company called dial a flight, fantastic. Arranged a 5 week tour of Malaysia down to drivers to pick us up, it all ran like clockwork.

Do Not use this company there are absolutly appalling - my elderly parents are on holiday with them at the moment and were left stranded at the airport at midnight as Sun4U had booked the transfer for the day before. My parents had to pay £70 for a taxi in to benidorm and then spend all night in a cafe as they did not know where they were staying and could not contact anyone from Sun4U. I have had the phoned put down on me twice so far today by their so called customer service department, and have been told that as my parents are now in their accomadation they cant see what the problem is and that I am complaining about nothing, no one has been to see my parents to apologise and we do not know whether they have a transfer home. The staff at this company are very rude and cannot seem to do their job properly. One little apology would have sorted this out days ago.
What about as far as their experience after all that was over, was it okay?
i would not touch them with a barge pole. we booked a weeks all inclusive for a family of 5 and when we arrived were told that we didnt have a reservation there it took two days to sort out with no all inclusive status. we ended up squashed into a tiny room with two double beds for all of us. Sun4u were not interested and when we complained on return they totally washed their hands of it and did not want to know. Avoid Aviod Aviod Avoid
Yep, used them a couple of times, most recently for our trip to F/ventura next week. Quick responses. You have to watch there website though as some deals can go UP as well as down. We booked ours begining of Oct, price has gone UP as at today.
