Like you I bought a pair of folding sunglasses a few years ago, they where really good. I bought mines from Matalan, not sure if they still have them but you could have a look if you have a Matalan near you.

I'm sure I've seen some boots, going to town tomorow, will report it I see any for you.
I had a look in our Boots over the weekend but couldn't see any. Will try Matalan as I need to go there soon anyway.
I was in Matalan today and found folding sunglasses they were Foster Grant ones and were £13.00 with a case.

Hi Chelle
Nevermind Folding sunglasses I need ones that beep when you whistle. I buy about 3 pairs every year and still can never find them!!!
I have my eye on a pair of Police aviator style that I saw today, but they were about £90 which seems a huge amount to pay. Are sunglasses cheaper in Spain the the UK and how can I tell I am not buying fakes?
Most sunglasses that are £5.99 are as good as those that are £90!
I got 2 pairs from Primark that were two quid each! Doesn't bother me then when they break!
I bought a pair of ray bans from spain last year for half the price you pay in the uk, these where bought from a spanish opticians
Yes bought Armani off a Lucky Lucky man in Tenerife 6 Euros, you cannot tell the difference,if they break or i lose them i don,t care.
I would if they were £90 quid!!!!!!!!.

Alot of that money is obviously for the brand/label, but do remember that some of the cheapy ones proabably won't have the UV protection for your eyes that a more expensive pair might.
Although I appreciate that sometimes people do like to treat themselves to something a bit special. I just know if I spent 90quid someone (probably me!

Perhaps things like designer sunglasses are a good airport purchase, they might be tax or duty free? Only speculating, don't know for definate perhaps someone else will.

Knowing my luck I would pay the 90pounds and then find out that they are excellent fakes!
Have you had a look on e.bay? Having said that I just bought a pair of fake D+G sunglasses from ebay, brand new, and I could of got nicer and cheaper on holiday.

I once purchased some sunglasses from Next in a sale, paid £5.00 for them, I still take them away with me and use them on the beach because they are very good with the sun rays. However, last year I went to Makro (don't know if you have a store in your area) well, I had a pair of Guess sunglasses, paid £29.00 for them instead of £80.00 as they were on offer (Makro Mail). They are wonderful and do just the job.
Worth a visit.

Good luck
Kazee

Sounds like you had yourself a bargain. Well done. Do you have to be member to go to Makro or have some kind of business card or can anybody shop there nowdays?
If you're anywhere near a TK Maxx, they have lots of designer sunglasses at reasonable prices
Sports world or Sports Soccer as it's known in some towns have some dirt cheap designer sunglasses.
