There used to be an Indian Sweet centre opposite the temple in Calangute, just by the hexagonal barber's shop. Haven't set foot in Calangute for 18 months tho'!
Have never noticed the barbers, but the sweet shop is next to the flower shop in Calangute, by the circle, opposite temple.
Oh no, does this mean the hexagnal barber's shop has gone? Surely not! Probably one of the oldest and most interesting buildings left in Calangute.
I hope not too. A friend of ours went in there for his traditional holiday haircut a few years back and whilst looking in the mirror he saw a cow walk behind him right through the building.
