My cousin runs a bar in Tarifa and we are thinking of visiting the place when out in Fuengirola in early March.
So information about the town much appreciated. I gather it's a haven for windsurfers as it's where the Atalntic meets the Med and can be a bit wild, weather wise. Any guesses as to how long the journey would be by car?
Cheers, Ann
I would think the journey will take about 2 hours, maybe a little less if you use the new toll road.

That's absolutely brilliant - many thanks for your help.
It's definitely worth visiting Tarifa, it's so chilled out there and has a lovely feel about the place. The beaches are beautiful but it will be cold in the evenings in March (perhaps chilly during the day too). If you can stay over for the evening even better as it has a completely different feel by night. You can find clean, comfortable hostels which are very cheap at that time of year.
