Got to the airport yesterday and found the Virgin flight was delayed 15 mins, that actaully turned into a 45 min delay in total. Good news was that due to good wind conditions we managed to make up the time in flight.
I'd almost forgotten how cramped Economy was on Virgin planes, very tight indeed. I did look at Premium economy but they want £1300 for Vegas which I think is just too expensive.
Flight turned out to be ok. Our TV's both worked for a change! I must say that t he food was the worst we have ever had on any airline, just inedible.
DAY 1
Landed in Vegas around 13:30. Bags took quite a while to come off but we finally got them.
Went out and queued for a cab - was very quick this time, got one within a minute. Only took a few mins to get to the Signature, cost $17 so gave the guy a $20.
Impressive entrance to the Signature, it's gated and they actually check you are a guest before letting you in!
That was our first worry out the way because this is the first year we have booked through Luxury Suites management company and we had a slight worry that the room wouldn't be booked!

But, they had our name so in we went. We are in tower three, on floor 16, we have a view toward the strip where we can see all the construction for City Centre project! In fact there is construction everywhere it seems!
We went up to our room and unpacked. Room is very similar to the one we had last year when we stayed here for one night. It looks like the pool on tower 2 is closed for some reason so pool 3 looks very busy at 3pm.
Even though it's our 10th visit to Vegas, the heat still hits you like opening an oven door

We walked down to the casino for a quick gamble.......not that we're addicted or anything

By 6pm we were not only hungry but feeling shattered! It was now 2am UK time and we'd been up since 5:30am.
We decided to eat in Diego's on Studio walk in MGM. It's a mexican restaurant.
For starter we shared three small dishes of lobster, snapper and shrimp, all very spicy and delicious. It was $13 so although they came in 'shot' type glasses and they weren't large, it was delicious. We also had a large bowl of free nacho's with dips which were lovely too. We had a mojito to drink, I gad a classic and Linda had a raspberry mojito, they were quite simply the best mojito's ever!
For main I had chicken enchilada's and Linda had lamb. Both were nice enough but not great, the enchiladas in particular were quite bland to be honest. Feeling stuffed we skipped dessert. Total bill was $101 which was pretty expensive considering, although the cocktails were $13 each. We walked back out to the casino and went to see the lion habitat - they had a male and female there, very sleepy but really lovely! Another quick gamble on roulette, where I managed to double $60 to $120 meant that we went back to the room at 8:30pm quite happy!

I tried to watch TV for a while but lasted 5 minutes!
Woke at 3:30am this morning and have dozed since. It's now 8:30am and we're just going to go down to the pool for the day

Nothing planned until Weds evening so we'll play it by ear tonight I think. Will probably update before going to bed tonight.
It's good to be home!!
Cheers
