left newcastle on easyjet flight fine and tho this was our first time on easyjet they were excellent no problems.arrived at charles de gaulle about 2100hrs found RER station fine tho i thought there was a metro station(is there) but caught train around 2130 into gaurd de nord 45 mins later big place and yes we got lost but thanks to a young student who heard me mention line 2 took us to the right place and even showed us where to get off we arrived at our PRE BOOKED hotel d`anjou 47,rue louis rouquier 92300 levallois-perret at around 2315 it looked ok but we had been warned that it aint very good,got to desk and a rather surley looking fella informed us NO ROOM but he told us that we had to go to another for two nights(we were booked for 3) saying we could get bus ,metro or a taxi but as this was very late at night and our first time in paris the wife lost it but we agreed to a taxi (15 euros) and arrived at hotel luxia 8 rue seveste 75018 a small bit of explaining the fella in d`anjou kept our booking form we got our room.and guess what we went for a drink or two.will put review on hotels later(when added)
good nights sleep and up at 0745 and breakfast tea and a bun and out as we had to get to the opera to get our 3 day paris passes and museum passes( prebooked on the net.)
we were on our way,the metro is great dead easy to find way round.
only dissapointment the queue for the eiffel tower it was miles long but we seen it BUT! the queue
also 2 full days aint enough to see everything,but i couldnt afford a week too damm dear
