Julmops,
There are no plans as far as I've heard to change the current economy facilities. Drinks are unlikely ever to become part of the fare as it's a good revenue earner and more the domain of full fare scheduled airlines.

NCL-BJV-NCL (TCX628K/L) are operated by a Boeing 757-200. IFE is therefore not provided but hand hand players should be available for hire. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Had to switch from Onur Air and their 30 inch pitch to TCX and their 28 inch - thanks to Goldtrail's demise. Not looking forward to it for 4hours or so - I always end up with marks on my knees with such a small pitch!
I suppose it could be worse!
Thanks to all for the info!

Does anyone know where I can find reviews of Thomas Cook Long Haul? I see the 33" seat pitch is pretty good, but other than that I have no idea what they are like.
Thanks

Can you tell me where the aircraft comes from prior to our flight?
Thanks in advance

The aircraft normally comes in from Holguin (TCX073K/L), sometimes Las Vegas (TCX043K/L).

                Hi all,
Would anyone have an idea of where the ticket office for Thomas cook flights is at Gatwick south please. We arrive there at 3.30 a.m' ish so would be nice if we had an idea of where to go to collect our air tickets. If someone could point me in the right direction when coming off the travelator into the terminal that would be great.
Thank you.

I wouldn't believe everything on that website and take a lot of it with a pinch of salt, it doesn't actually reflect the feedback from the on-board questionnaires, hardly anyone goes on there to say how good their flight was and in addition to that some people forget that Thomas Cook is a charter airline and expect things like free drinks and the best food in the world its just not going to happen.

While every view is valid and people opinions are worth noting, you have to remember many will only post a review when they have something to report, eg when things don't go as expected, or better than expected. Given human nature, many are posted when things are below expectaction. That's the case with many review sites and you often get a bias towards poor reviews. The best way is to make you own mind up. Having flown across the pond on many aircraft types with several airlines, Thomas Cook post-seat removal to provide 33" seat pitch are pretty much on par with the likes of Thomson Airways. However I still prefer the ex-First Choice cabins of TOM. The TCX A330's are nice enough though, I'd hapilly travel on them tomorrow.
EDIT: BEfreeTODAY just beat me to it!

Thanks Darren. Working in the industry myself and falling foul of some Tripadvisor reviews where out and out lies have been put down, I do take all such reviews with a pinch of salt. However, it doesn't look great, but of course having used that site for Virgin Atlantic before, the reviews there are pretty damning so its always those who have bad experiences that will complain!
And the end of the day, the flight is just a means to an end so not the end of the world if its not great!

Hello, I'm I am flying tomorrow TCX119K Birmingham to Sharm El Shek. Could you tell me what aircraft I will be flying on and if there is any in-flight entertaiment? If so what films would be showing? Lastly would you know what meals may be served? Thank You.
