Welcome onboard
Your flights are operated by Airbus A330-200. These are indeed the ex-MYT aircraft as all the original TCX aircraft left the fleet just over a year ago. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Thomas Cook Airlines will be offering flights from Manchester to Antigua, Barbados and St Lucia this winter. Looks like they are expanding their long hauls offering.
TCX are also operating CWL-SFB from may to october.
Fly Thomas Cook's website has been a nightmare today and I finished up having to phone them. They then sent me e-mail confirmation giving the wrong dates and no prices, necessitating another phone call (to an 0871 number of course). Finally sorted and for once an excellent price - £112.48 (excluding hold luggage) from Stansted to Enfidha (Tunisia).
good price Aslemma. hopefully you wont need to call them again but if you do you should find an alternative to the 0871 number here
Thanks so much jhe. I did actually try to find that site as I knew there must be an alternative number but I must have had a blonde moment as I couldn't find it. I've now made a note of the number, though I hope I won't need it. Incidentally Customer Service is apparently 01274 389 7900
Could anybody tell me what type of aircraft will be operating Flight TCX1582 from Gatwick to Antalya on 22/06/2013 and the return Flight TCX1583 from Antalya to Gatwick on 30/06/2013.
Thank you
Welcome onboard
LGW-AYT-LGW (are you sure they aren't TCX1852/3?) are operated by Boeing 757-200. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Hi
Hi Darren, we are flying 07/03/13 on TCX1626 (Thomas Cook Airlines on a 753_280) returning 18/03/13 on TCX1875 (Thomas Cook Airlines on a 753_280). Do you know if there is any inflight entertainment anymore on these flights. Thanks very much
IFE information is detailed on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). Your flights are operated by Boeing 757-300. IFE is available.
Darren
Thanks Darren
Hi. We're flying MAN-AYT-MAN, outbound on 29/3/13 and inbound 05/04/13. Bit confused as our outbound flight time is 4hr 20min (depart 14:45, arrive 21:05) but our inbound flight time is 6hr 15min (depart 22:00, arrive 02:15). Any idea why the inbound flight time is 2 hours longer? Hopefully we're not stopping off on the way home!
Welcome onboard
MAN-AYT-MAN (TCX2658/9?) are operated by Boeing 757-200. The return flight is always about 30-40 minutes longer as you're flying in to prevailing winds and the routing is normally slightly longer. As for the other hour, I'm not sure why as the flight time shouldn't be more then 5 hours on the 752 from AYT. Maybe it's due to the BST transition and Turkey don't put their clock back until later? I'll have to check.
Darren
We're on tcx2658 out but tcx2985 coming back. Just found a website that states the clocks go forward on 31st March so same as UK. The plot thickens!
I wondered if anyone could fine this info out for me Iam flying on the 13th August to hurghada, t153587t I know it's a airbus a332 but could you tell me if they will leave it as a long haul plane or will they put in extra seats and squash us in,also I wondered if you knew the seat pitch many thanks in advance..
Please quote flight numbers when requesting aircraft information. The reference you quote is a holiday number from the brochure, not a flight number. I assume your flights are LGW-HRG-LGW (TCX1518/9)? These are indeed operated by Airbus A330-200. Looking at the seat plan, it'll be a long haul configured aircraft. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Sorry Darren, was having a blonde moment lol. The flight number is TCX1518 and yes we will be flying from gatwick, and fantastic if it is long haul at last Thomas cook are listening to their customers needs for years we have been travelling to Egypt in their cramped conditioned planes, would there be inflight entertainment on them thanks again..
That's based on the seat plan as it's showing 43 rows rather than the short haul 47. They would normally reconfigure them for the summer season but given 3 have left the fleet, it seems they're slotting in a medium haul route between long haul so aren't changing it this summer. I wouldn't say they are listening to customer needs, they aren't changing anything on short haul aircraft it's just you're fortunate on the aircraft assigned to your route this summer. It would normally be a standard short haul aircraft. IFE information is on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). I've been transatlantic on aircraft with the same seat pitch as you've been to Egypt on in the past. If you think 5 hours to Egypt is bad, try 10 hours!
