belle1205,
Welcome onboard
GLA-CUN-GLA (TCX15K/L) are operated by an Airbus A330-200. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). It's the usual long haul aircraft as far as I know.

Thanks Darren!

Hi. We are going to Tenerife on 16 July TCX985K from Glasgow. According to the Glasgow Airport website this flight is due to start operating on 7 May 2010 but there was no sign of it leaving Glasgow today. Does anyone have any idea why, and when this flight will start to operate? Would like to watch it in the few weeks before we go to see if times change, any delays etc, and also try to figure out which inbound plane will then be used on this flight.
Welcome onboard
I don't think the Friday TCX985K/L flights commence until 28th May. Flights prior to that are a different flight number. They're operated by a Boeing 757-200. Times will be confirmed on your tickets when you get them and you can't go off flight history to check for delays etc as anything can happen on the day. We'll be able to indicate the specific aircraft registration the day before. They're all the same inside so it makes little difference.
Darren
Would be keen to know the registration, will try to remember to ask the day before. Thanks again
however have noticed this last couple of years the aisle arm rests dont lift up any more. Flew with Monarch last year and Onur Air the year before and the aisle arm rests dont move - they were on the 3 and 3 seat set up. They used to, this used to help at least you could sit sideways a bit easier.
Is this the norm now maybe to health and safety rules or something.
I know its a daft query but if it helps with some comfort those 4 hour flights can feel like 6 when you keep fidgeting.
ta Bev
It's normal for the arm rests on isle seats not to lift up for safety reasons. This is to ensure passengers aren't ejected in turbulance. Arm rests in the middle do lift up, but not on all aircraft and specified seats for safety reasons.

just to let you know there not be a premium cabin on tc flights for summer 2011
Thanks Darren.

There is a few posts of discussion about this a few pages back.
Hi Can you give me info on TCflight to Sanford from Gatwick departing 10 sept 2010 and returning 24 sept 2010. We have booked in premium and have paid extra for flight seats together. Also, do they have a downtown check in on the return or do we have to check in at sanford airport?
Pirates1
Aircraft will be a A330-200 as per the What Aircraft guide, Premium seats are located in the forward section of the aircraft.
As for Down town check in, as far as i am aware TCX dont operate this service currently so check in would be at Sanford, thats not to say it wont be implemented between now and then so keep an eye out.
Welcome onboard
What information are you looking for? You'll find aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). Check-in is at the airport.

PS, you were quick off the mark there BEfreeTODAY
hi there im due to fly out 2nd june lgw-puj tcx13k//13L im just wondering with the confusion of this ac being in maintenance if my flight will still be operated with an a330 with 33" seat pitch and seat back ife
alboy26
If you have not received a letter from Thomas Cook regarding a change then assume everything will be as advertised with seat back IFE and 33" seat pitch.
Me being nosey again can you (anyone) tell me where the aircraft is coming from before flight TCX174k (Cayo Coco) Will it be on the tarmac the night before (MAN) or will be it due in just before?
Thanks in advance
Unless things change, the aircraft will be coming in from Las Vegas (TCX043K/L). It's due in at 0815.
