Hi Darren,
We are flying Gatwick to Samana on 29th October flight TOM050 and return TOM049. Could you tell me what type of plane this will be please then I can check the configuration before I book my seats.

Hiya, can anyone tell me what type of aircraft has been operating the Manchester-Enfidha-Manchester (TOM302/303) flight this summer?
Thanks.

        Thanks.

                Hi,
I'm a newbie here, so apologies if this is the wrong forum.
I've just booked flight tom052 to Goa on 19 March 2011. As it's our honeymoon, we've also upgraded to the premium economy class. Can anyone advise as to the best seat numbers please? I would prefer a window seat. Also, what type of plane is it?
Many thanks.

LGW-GOA-LGW (TOM052/3) are operated by a Boeing 767-300/ER (winglets). You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). Seating is personal prefrence, all seats are basically the same. There's no window on row 9 if it's a former First Choice aircraft (normally is).

                Hi again Darren
Is it still too soon to know what plane and the configuration that will be doing the LGW-PUJ-LGW TOM070 and TOM071 flights ? Also wondered if you could tell me where the plane will be coming in from prior to our departure on 1st December........we think we know which seats to try for (Row 3 or 4, A, B & C) but would like to see the seating plan asap so we have a plan b (or c or d ) if these are already gone. Cheers for your help, as ever

Your flights aircraft hasn't officially been confirmed but others have, which tie up the ex-Thomsonfly aircraft at other airports on the 1st Dec, so by elimination it should be an ex-First Choice 767.
It will more than likely be the TOM031 from Montego Bay, Jamaica. Come back mid November though and ask that question again someone will have more of a precise answer once the winter schedule is up and running.

Hi Darren or anyone else who may be able to help me, I've got a holiday booked to Samana, Dom Rep on the 15th Dec TOM048. I want to upgrade to premium seats but when I went onto extras on their site and put in my booking details I got this message:
Sorry, extras are not bookable on line at the moment. If your flights are less than 2 months away, please call us on 0871 231 4793. Otherwise please try again nearer the time. Thank you for your patience.
Does this mean I'm too early in trying or does it mean I can't upgrade online and have to ring the shop?
Thanks

If you've booked through an agent I would just ring them.

MDollar it means you are too early usually you can book 60 days before or thereabouts, I did when I went to Jamaica earlier in April I selected seats and also going later this month and again selected seats, so I would try at the end of September and then periodically.

Mdollar doesn't want to select seat numbers she wants to upgrade to Premium.

I realize that but the 'extras' is all in the same place - that was the point I was trying to make - she can of course speak to Thomson direct and upgrade to Premium over the telephone

                Mdollar,
It just means it's too early to book flight extras online. It only opens 60 days before your departure date. To upgrade to premium seats, you need to call your tour operator to enquire about availability and book them.

Hi onetruenutta,
not sure if it makes any difference to you but the flights to Enfidha don't start until summer 2011.
At the moment all Thomson's Tunisia flights are still operating into Monastir.

Can anyone tell me if TOM 822 Manchester to Dalaman going on 21st Aug is a 757 or a 767, todays flight and last weeks, on flight stats, shows a 757 which is a 3+3 seat plan, when I prebooked the seats the plan showed 2+4+2 so I booked 4 seats (2 behind each other with 2 window seats rows 4G,4H,5G,5H) Hope this makes sense.
Many thanks
