Hi
Flight TOM094/095 Gatwick-Holguin 7 March 2011- 21 March 2011. Please can you tell me if it is an ex FCA or ex Thomsonfly aircraft due to operate this route.
Thanks.
TOM144/5 are operated by a Boeing 767-300/ER (winglets) as Gower mentions, but from the former Thomsonfly fleet, in the long haul configuration (283 sets). You'll find further aircraft details on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

It's too early to be sure at this stage until the Winter schedule kicks in. We'll know better from November. I suspect a former First Choice, but it may have changed.
Darren
I thought it might be but the friends we travel with are impatient lol. I will ask again in November.
Thank you
JasonMack,
Sorry Darren, it was the TOM2337.
JasonMack,
We are delayed today on TOM 676 Newcastle to Punta Cana for at least 8 hours, they have said the plane is coming from Cancun and has had technical problems. Can you tell me if it has taken off from Cancun which plane it now is and any other info you have?
Many thanks
Deana
That would be G-DBLA (I flew to CUN on her 2 weeks ago) that had a few problems when operating the TOM348/9. The aircraft is inflight and is currently over Chicago as I type cruising at 35,000ft at 525kn. It's expected in NCL at around 16:39. Your departure, subject to any further delays, should be about 2 hours after that.
Have a great holiday,
Darren
thanks darren, you are great and alway helpful I'm sure we'll have a great time when we eventually get there
Not been a good couple of days for Thomsonfly at Cancun with both G-OOAN ex EMA and G-DBLA ex NCL going tech upon arrival causing more knock on delays I wonder if they are spreading the lomg haul fleet a little thin during the summer
Technical delays are unfortunate and happen from time to time. Aircraft are very complex machines, even brand new aircraft have technical problems.

Just cannot wait to get to Punta Cana! Keep checking the weather but really thinking 'Why bother?' the hotel is booked so bring it on!!! btw How often are the retail opportunities in the Thomson in-flight mag changed, please?
They're reviewed about every 6 months but are pretty much standard in terms of what is on offer, spirits, tobacco etc. Perfumes, watches etc are updated to latest lines though. The lines on Alpha Shoppings website are pretty much what is offered onboard, with exception of things like handbags.
Darren
Thanks for the info Darren.

Great! Thanks darren
I'm flying out to Male in about 3 weeks time. I'm not a very good flyer, but it's my honeymoon so I thought we'd best go somewhere special, and to ease the pain we've upgraded to Premium and the free drinks
A quick question, the flights are TOM054 & TOM055, and thanks to this site I know just about everything I need to, however is anyone able to tell me what flight the plane used will be on prior to departure from LGW? I'm only asking because I'm nosey, and also last week it was delayed by about 4 hours so it is nice to know if the inbound flight prior is going to be delayed...
Many thanks in advance
Welcome onboard
The aircraft operating your flight (LGW-MLE-LGW, TOM054/5) normally comes in from Cancun (TOM078/9). Have a great honeymoon.
