hello everyone, i've been back a week now from a lovely 2 week trip to cuba and wanted to post a brief review of the flights, which were very good. we flew from manchester on a thomson holiday using a first choice airways 767. the flight was on time to board, on time to depart and from start to finish the whole experience was great. we really enjoyed the premium cabin, if you can book for a reasonable price (we paid £160 each at the time of booking but i believe next year it is now £260 minimum...!) then i would recommend booking it without question, however after taking a peak in the regular cabin, i have to say it looked to be the most spacious charter long haul set up i have ever seen-a really pleasant environment. the staff in the premium cabin were faultless professionals, cheerful, friendly, keen to help and in no way sulky or unenthusiastic during services of food and beverages, they were knowledgable on what they were serving, particularly during duty free services, but i no way pushy or 'sell, sell, sell' the cabin manager was excellent, she was so on the ball and ensured that all other staff knew exactly what they were doing.
seats were super, plent of legroom, wide enough and shaped comfortably with good head supports, the foot rests are brilliant, i didnt realise how such a small desing feature would make such a difference to overall comfort. food was actually quite appertising, with a choice of beef or chicken served with seasoned mash etc and on the return leg we were given a choice of a sunday lunch type chicken and stuffing dish, or beef in ale or mild chicken curry, which i really enjoyed. entertainment is good, all screens were working fully for the entire journey and the noise reduction headphones are a welcome change from the usual evil little plastic ear bud ones! drinks service was frequent and there was a good selection, even on the return leg, fortunately no one in our cabin abused this despite drinks being included, all in all a great flying experince and i would really recommend thomson longhaul, despite being consistently more expensive than thomas cook
