Chappers.,
All ex Thomsonfly aircraft apart from one are in Short Haul configuration. The only aircraft that is long haul configured is G-OBYJ
The reason G-OBYG was put on is because there is a technical problem with one of the ex First Choice at the moment.
Both the Shorthaul and Longhaul configured aircraft have seatback IFE

Thanks for that GowerL7, hopefully the ex-FCA will all be working fine when it's my turn to fly!

Flying out to Goa with Thomson in November in Premium economy.
Reserved seats, but it's 2-3-2 going out and 2-4-2 coming back is that right??
I've checked the 'which aircraft thread' but it says it should be 2-3-2 both ways and im confused.com!!
I would assume from that it will be an ex-FCA on the way out, and an ex-Tfly for the return journey.
Would you be able to tell me where the plane operating TOM046 from LGW to SFB on 9th October is due in from?
Thanks,
Ang

Not strictly true as premium is 2-3-2 in both!
Can anyone shed some light as to what's going on with the "out of action" 76W being replaced with a non long-haul config 767 at the momment? I'd love any info on which bird is doing LGW>MBJ tomorrow and more importantly (as I'll be on it!!!) TOM092 LGW to CUN on Thurs? Thanks in advance as per usual.
If you're travelling in premium economy (first 5 or 9 rows of the aircraft), the configuration is 2-3-2. 2-4-2 is only in economy from row 6 aft on the former Thomsonfl aircraft.

gobofraggle,
We are travelling to cancun from NCL next wednesday (13th October) on TOM348/349 can you by any chance confirm again if it is a ex-FCA 763 as normally used on this flight as I have heard recently it has possibly been changed to an Ex-TOM 763 a/c, also do you perhaps have the registration of the planned aircraft that is scheduled to operate this flight just out of curiosity.
Cheers
J
NCL-MAN-CUN-NCL (TOM348/9) are operated by a former First Choice aircraft as posted previously, unless it's subbed due to a technical problem. It's too early to know the registration as aircraft are rotated almost weekly. We'll know the day before.

My mate's done night before check in for LGW > MBJ tomorrow (I think TOM30). He's just been phoned by the airport team to say there's a 3h delay. He wants to know more!!! I said I'd ask around? Any ideas?
Did he not ask the person who called? Knock on effects from previous delays I should imagine. 3 hour's is nothing too serious although it probably feels like it!

Hi Darren,
That's exaclty what I said to him!! - apparently she didn't know!
Any ideas from my above post?
R.
All I have is G-OOBK was damaged after a heavy landing in Bristol on 3rd October. I don't know what the damage is or how long repairs will take, but there are delays and aircraft changes at the moment.

Thanks Darren - if I see OOBK on Thursday I'll be sure to tighten the seatbelt on final approach!!
I don't suppose you can expand on "aircraft changes"?
Hi Darren, I've just been informed by Thomsons that I can now go on extras and choose our seats for our flight to Samana DR on 15th Dec flight no. TOM48. I've just looked on the site and they have reserved seats 12C D & E but I can amend them if I want and choose to sit somewhere else as long as the seats are still available. I've noticed on the diagram it doesn't show you where the exit seats are on the plane and that's where I'd like t sit or as near there as possible as I get a bit claustrauphobic. Do you happen to know where the exit seats are on this plane please many thanks.
If you look at our What Aircraft? guide (link below), you'll find links to seating plans for all aircraft types that show exit row locations.
Darren
Thanks for the quick reply Darren, looking at the seating plan it looks like we're right near the exit so I've just booked them.
I don't think you'll be seeing G-OOBK for a while, unless its from the windows of BRS airport departure lounge...
