Hello there'could someone tell me what aircraft will be operating cwl to larnaca on the wed 29/7/11 on tom 6312 many thanks.
jonesfour,
Flying from Manchester to Cancun on 1st Jan the plane is a Boeing 767-300/ER ex Thomsonfly fleet 283 seat configuration, I was surprised to see I could select our seats today quite early I would think, anyway I picked seat 10 g & h there and back, anyone got any input on these seats are they ok.
Cheers
Irenec
Any news on INF on Mid Haul 757 flights to Egypt with Thomson/First Choice for new summer ....... will it still be available, or is everything still up in the air?
Thanks,
Pat
Seating is personal preference so it's whatever you prefer really. Row 10 are as good as any others in terms of seat pitch and facilities. Bear in mind that row doesn't have a window as it's where air conditioning and wiring is located.
Darren
I've not heard anything so I assume IFE won't be changed for the time being at least. It's only Thomas Cook that have stopped it on their narrow bodied fleet. There's never been any suggestion of Thomson Airways dropping it.
Darren
That's a real bummer Darren I thought it was row 11 that had no window, do you know if I can change them.
You can't change them online, you'd have to call. You should have a partial view from the window infront, just not a full one.
Darren
Thanks Darren, think I'll just leave it the way it is, when it said on seat plans.com that it was row 11 that had no windows I thought it would be ok. I should have asked you on here first we'll just have to peek out of row 9's window !!
For the normal rubbish they put on it wont be missed better getting a small media player load your own entertainment,my last 2 flights the in arm controls didnt work anyway.
hi Darren you recently replied to my enquiry regarding our flight from bhx to feu 27/10 flight no TOM7360. When i phoned to pre book my seats the lady told me it would be a 757-200 you told it would be a 737 so i was wondering if you were aware of any changes or if it is still a 737 thank you. Also do you know if it will be an old plane or new one? is row 10 by the engines? also someone has told me that feurteventura can be a rocky landing because its windy, do you know if thats true. Thank you so much for all your help.
The aircraft schedule I have shows BHX-FUE-BHX (TOM7360/1) as operated by a Boeing 737-800 (winglets) on the 27th October (last flight of the summer season). From the 3rd November (first flight of the winter season), assuming that's when you're returning, it's a Boeing 757-200. The aircraft have various ages but it makes little difference given the high levels of maintenance. You'll find further aircraft information and seating plans on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). The weather dictates how smooth any flight is so it depends on what the weather is like on the day. It's nothing to worry about though, the aircraft and crew know their limits and have experienced it all before.
Darren
thank you so much for your fast response and reassurance x
Got a friend flying MAN-MBJ 31/10 - 7/11. TOM 136/137. Can you tell me whether this is going to be ex FCA or ex Thomsonfly please?
Thanks
MAN-MBJ-MAN (TOM136/7) are currently operated by a former Thomsonfly Boeing 767-300/ER (winglets / 283 seats long haul), registration G-OBYJ.
Darren
