hi what are the meals like on tom flights? flying from glasgow. just booked our meals.and what is the seating plan for flight tom1552?
BY-TOM-AMM-FCA posted meal information here and we have a discuss about them on page 111. GLA-REU-GLA (TOM1552/3) are operated by a Boeing 757-200 (winglets). You'll find aircraft information, including a seating plan on our What Aircraft? thread.

TOM172
22-July 2009 Manchester > Montego Bay Departing 10:00
and can someone tell me
the flight on the 21st to Montego Bay from BHX does it go through MAN?
z.j.c,
I wonder why some flights from BHX operate non stop and others have to stop at Manchester its confusing.
Is the BHX Ex FCA or Ex TOM?
Have just followed your link to the Thomson website and came across info about the New Thomson Dreamliner, could there be a chance that they could be used for my trip next year? The aircraft looks fab.

I wonder why some flights from BHX operate non stop and others have to stop at Manchester its confusing.
It's due to BHX's runway length. Some longer flights (eg Mexico) require a full fuel load and the runway isn't long enough for the aircraft to take off at that weight. It therefore hops over to MAN to brim the tanks and take off from their as MAN's runways are a lot longer. Solihull Council approved a 400m runway extension earlier this year. Once the runway extension is complete, flight's will operate non-stop to all destinations. There's more information on the Birmingham Airport thread. Only Manchester and Gatwick are using the former Thomsonfly 763's on long haul. Regionals are operated by former First Choice 763's.

No chance I'm afraid. Boeing have suffered several delays on the 787 programme and it's now looking like May 2011 before Thomson Airways will be getting their first one, 2 years later than planned.

hi dazbo5 had a look at the threads and what does winglets mean for the 757-200? is it 3-3 seating?
thanks for the info
Hi, had a look through the posts but can't seem to find any but sorry if there are already posted. Has anybody got any photos of the premium cabin on thomson 767's. Thank You.
I posted some of the First Choice premium cabin linked from the What Aircraft? thread. The ex-TOM premium cabin is about half the size without the mood lighting as BY-TOM-AMM-FCA described.

GLA-ACE-GLA (TOM1448/9) are operated by a Boeing 757-200 (winglets). The incoming flight is one of TOM1420/1 from Faro or TOM1406/7 from Palma both arriving in GLA at 1320 giving a turnaround or 1 hour 35 minutes.
