josephhhh,

NCL-ACE-NCL (TOM1444/5) are operated by a Boeing 737-800 (winglets). Refer to our What Aircraft? guide for further details. The short haul IFE for July / August is posted on page 136 (see BY-TOM-FCA-AMM's post towards the bottom of the page).

EDIT: Typo :duh

Harlowgirl,

Don't worry, it's still the same aircraft type; former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. Have a great time :cheers :sun2

ravelglen,

You can pre-assign specific seats (at a charge) by calling the airline within 6 weeks of your departure date. More details on Thomsons website.

Hi Darren, a newbie here
Do you or anyone else know the seat width in premium in the old first choice plane 767-300/ER as we are travelling on it TOM 144 & 145 next month and have been going on thomson planes for the last few years.
Also has anyone got info on row 1 A & B? Are these seat widths reduced because of the tv screen not being in front of you, and does the partition in front of these seats reduce the pitch of the seat or increase it?
Many thanks in advance.

deana,

Welcome onboard :tup
The seat width is approximately 18" in premium, 17.5" in economy. The tray tables in premium are all of the fold out variety from the arm rest rather than fold down from the back of the seat infront. Because of this, the arm rests are fixed and the seat widths the same. There's a bulkhead infront of row 1. As there's nothing infront, you can't really quote a seat pitch. However, there is slightly more room infront of the seat but you can't put you feet under the seat infront as there isn't one. This can restrict streching your legs out fully for those with long legs, but there is slightly more room overall. I've linked photo's of the various cabins from our What Aircraft? guide.

deana,

It's a bit early for menus, BY-TOM-FCA-AMM might be able to help out with that one.

I might be being a bit dim but what is BY-TOM-FCA-AMM? Is it a another forum?
Also you probably have spoke about this often but is there any news on the Dreamliners for next year?

Hi there,

I'm travelling to Lanzarote on TOM2734 on 30th Aug from Manchester. I've been prebooked seats 38A & B, one of the last 5 rows of the aircraft. Thomson told me there are 42 rows on the plane, does anyone know what plane this will be?

Thanks, Helen

We have paid for meals aboard out Thomson long haul from MAN - SFB this Saturday. What drinks, if any, are included in the flight and what do we have to pay for drink if they are not part of the package?

Also, my little boy is on full fat milk. Do we need to bring some in a bottle or are we able to get that on the plane?

Thanks
Adam

meishkablue,

Your flights are operated by a Boeing 757-200. You'll find further aircraft information, including a seating plan on our What Aircraft? guide.

BY-TOM-FCA-AMM is a forum contributer who works for Thomson Airways.

Given that Boeing are having issues with aircraft development and the first flight is rumoured to have been delayed by up to another 12 months, it's hightly unlikely the 787's are going to be delivered to the revised timetable. The last revisions was an anticipated delivery of the first aircraft for Thomson Airways in April / May 2011, but I suspect this may be pushed back even further.
