I have seen the thread somewhere but can't find it so I hope one of you kind readers could tell me how to get access to the inflight magazine.

Also, on their invoice - what does 'reserved seating' mean? Does it mean that I can contact someone to choose where to sit on the plane?

Many thanks. x

SomersetSuzie,

Thomson don't publish their inflight magazine online. It's probably the Thomas Cook one you've seen. I'm not sure what reserved seating would mean, have you pre-booked specific seat numbers? You can reserve specific seats by calling the airline up to 6 weeks before you travel (at a charge). More details here.

Just had a look and you are correct the flights are not available to book although package holidays are showing. Luton flights are coming up but not Gatwick.
I can't see Thomson not flying Gatwick - Majorca next year, you may have to phone them to ask the question.

Edit: Look up Luton flights and you can book Gatwick from that route. :tup

Hi cazB,

You are right - well what a way to book, although I have just been on to book & it says there is a technical issue, unable to process.......!! There is a phone no so if no luck tomorrow I will ring them.

Thank you so much for that, I wouldn't of dreamt of going that route to book. As you say I can't see Thomson not flying to Palma, although BA are not after sept/oct this year :que doesn't make sense to me!

Thanks again you are a star.

cazB,

There is definately something wrong with the Palma flights from Gatwick, it says there is a technical fault, but it lets me continue with both Stanstead & Luton flights....mmm strange.

Will try again tomorrow.

Quick question... Flying with Thomson on Weds to Aruba in Premium... Do we need to get to the airport early to guarantee seats together? Says on Thomson website that seats together are not guaranteed!

Also if we have a preference for a window seat is it better to get to the airport early?

I know it's been said before that they are presorted the day before, just would want to sit together and I hate sitting in the middle of the cabin!

Thanks!

Would either of you be able to tell me what flight TOM1118 (NCL-PMI) operates before it begins the NCL-PMI rotation

thanks

Musiclad,

I believe that seats are allocated the day before, so arriving earlier at the airport is not going to change anything.

Last year, when flying back from Aruba the couple checking in front of us in the premium cabin where none too pleased when they were not sat together (an aisle was seperating them).

For that reason (and if it is not too late) you may wish to reserve your seats at a cost of I think £ 5.00 per person per leg of the journey to guarantee the exact seats you want.

Musiclad,

As Mark mentions, seating is allocated the day before using a best fit model so arriving at the airport early won't get you anywhere. Seating isn't guaranteed to be together, but the vast majority of passengers are. That's due to the nature of the aircraft configuration, 2-3-2. The 3's in the middle cause a few problems as most travel as couples. If you want to guarantee your seats are together and get a window seat, you can pre-select them by calling the airline (at extra cost).

JKKne,

The flight before NCL-PMI-NCL (TOM1118/9) should be NCL-Dalaman-NCL (TOM202/3)m arriving back at 1640.

PS Gower is sunning himself in Majorca at the moment!

I am flying out on 22/8/09 to Sanford airport from Glasgow airport and I was wondering if anyone could let me know what type of aircraft it is and where I could locate some information and images of the aircraft.

Thanks

As far as i'm aware the Florida flight from Glasgow leaves on a Thursday this year the 22nd Aug is a Saturday are you sure your flying with Thomson? Maybe Thomas Cook?

Just looked at the Glasgow airport website, Thomas Cook have a Saturday flight departing at 1100. or Globespan at 1130

If your travelling with Thomas Cook you'll be on a A330, if it is the latter a 767-300

Dazbo will be able to help with photos but the easiest is to type in "A330 Thomas Cook" in google (select images in the top left hand corner) and plenty of pictures will come up.

3kidsmkdp,

Welcome onboard :tup
Have you got your flight numbers? As BY-TOM-AMM-TFA mentions, I suspect you're on the Thomas Cook flight. If your flight start 'TCX', that's the flight prefix for Thomas Cook. Thomson Airways is TOM and Flyglobespan GSM. You'll find aircraft details on our What Aircraft? guide and more information on our Thomas Cook Airlines topic.

Hi
I'm flying out to Sharm El Sheikh on 14 sep. on TOM652 returning 28 sep. on TOM653. Can anyone please tell me which planes these will be and what the seat configuration is.
Also, are the seats already allocated or is it worth getting to the airport early to get the seats we would like?

Thanks
