Jonouk1211,

MAN-SSH-MAN (TOM876/7) are operated by a Boeing 757-200. The September / October IFE listing won't be released until the end of August.

Jonouk1211,

It's Thomson Airways. It makes little difference other than the seat design and colour schemes and depends on the aircraft assigned on the day, could be either/or.

D3ANO,

Please refer to your previous posts. G-BYAT and G-OOBD are currently operating out of BRS. Providing there are no rotations before your flight, you'll probably be travelling on G-BYAT.

Newbie here! What an absolute goldmine this thread is. Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed; i've been reading it for hours and it's told me LOADS!

A couple of questions:

a) I'm flying tomorrow (Thurs 13th) Thomson flight TOM070 from LGW to Punta Cana, Dominican Rep. Which plane will this be on? An ex FCA or something else?

b) Is the film list (p134) for July/Aug still correct?

c) Is the food list (Chicken Pomodoro) still correct?

d) Anyone got any experiences of this flight? Tends to be on time? Tends to be smooth/bumpy? I'm a bit of a nervous flyer so I like to "know" as much as possible, even though most of the answers in Question d) are "it varies given the situation!"
:(
Many thanks!

enyoobee,

Welcome onboard :tup
z.j.c has provided the answers to your questions, but you might want to have a look through our What Aircraft? guide for further information and my trip reports. Flying conditions depends on the weather on the day, but the crew will do their best to esure your flights are as smooth as possible. Having been across the pond many times, you might have a few bumps along the way, but it's nothing to worry about and perfectly normal. You might want to refer to our Fear of Flying thread.
