sparky123,

As Gower mentioned, it's too early to know. If you give us a shout after May, we'll be able to tell you.

Hi Darren,
Am I correct that in your post you mean EX First Choice 757s have dropdown LCD screens???

We are flying on the 28th May to La Romana from Gatwick on TOM62 and returning TOM63.
Is it too early to find out whether it is an Ex FCA or Thomson plane?
Many thanks

qatarman,

rachie-m,

It's too early to know which configuration will be used. We won't know for sure until the beginning of May as we're in the winter season at present and the summer season starts on 1st May. LGW-LRM charters at the moment are ex-FCA, but it may change.

Thanks Gower

Last year when we flew we was told the same info, but the plane was a thomson one (smaller premium section). I think I found it on here as the 767-300ER, I'm sure I'll have to wait till nearer the time to confirm?

When I book seats will they be able to tell me then whether its the ex FC or Thomson (cant book yet as not till May) so dont want to look at the wrong seating plans.

Thanks for all your help as usual

Watford Travellers,

We won't know until nearer the time whether or not it will be an ex First Choice or ex Thomson.
You would however know when you came to do seating as the ex FCA's are 2-3-2 and the ex TOM's 2-4-2 configured.

However as always the aircraft could be changed on the day of the flight for any number of reasons

stacey83,

Welcome

Your flights (TOM6314/5) will be operated by a Boeing 757-200. It is too early to know whether it will be an ex Thomson of ex first choice plane as your flight is in the summer season and that does not start until may.

However Bristol had a based ex Thomson and ex first choice last year, so it could possibly be the same this year. They are however identical inside apart from the colour of the fabric and the ex Thomson ones having slightly newer (slimmer) chairs.

Seating is allocated the day before your flight using a best fit model. As the aircraft is configured 3-3 I would either expect it to give you 3 seats and 1 across the aisle, or 2 with 2 behind

I have just been informed that i will be flying on the 787 when i go to the Dominican Republic in March. Does anyone know the seating plan for this aircraft as when i pre booked my seats it showed a 2-3-2 configuration but on another website it shows this aircraft as having a 2-4-2 set up which may affect my choice of seats. Please can anyone help. Thanks. ChrissyR
