Hi
I'm on flight TOM162 Manchester to Cancun on 3rd April 2010 (and the return TOM163) - can someone confirm the actual plane we'll be flying on? I've managed to find these layouts (put the www in front - I cant post links :( ):
seatplans.com/airlines/Thomson-Airways/seatplans/B767-300-11
seatplans.com/airlines/Thomson-Airways/seatplans/B767-300ER-(258)
seatplans.com/airlines/Thomson-Airways/seatplans/B767-300ER-(258)-v2

I read somewhere that row 9 doesnt have a window, is that right?

Also, what In Flight Entertainment can we expect?

Those seat plans are already on the What Aircraft Guide attached to the respective experts signature on this thread.

Hiya
Yeah so I see, I've just been reading through all of that. Just wondering which one of these will be our plane :)

As you have posted your flight numbers one of the experts will be along to tell you exactly which plane you will be flying on.

null,

Your flights TOM162/3 will be operated by a Boeing 767-300/ER (ex First Choice)

The most relevant seat plan is this one here

As for in-flight entertainment listings, these will not bee known until the beginning of March. So if you check back then, hopefully it will have been updated

Thanks guys! :cheers
Maybe I should check my seating plan then, cos we've got someone booked into row 9 and the user reviews of that link you posted says theres no window on that one :duh

null,

On the ex-FCA 763's, that would be correct as Snowyboy mentions. It's where some of the electrical systems are routed. There are 2 rows further back where air conditioning and other electrical systems are routed that don't have windows too.

Hello,

We are travelling to Cancun from East Midlands on the 27th Jul, could you tell us what the aircraft type will be?

The flight number is TOM866, TOM 867. Its been a while since we flew first choice/thomson, even though we are not premium seating, is there still the option to upgrade our IFE for a small charge? Think it was £10 a couple of years ago. Its always good to be able to pause your IFE!

Also, the rep over the phone told us as we are staying at a premier hotel we could pick our seats online now, but we cant log-in to do that, do you know when we would be able to?

Thanks,

Richard

EMA-CUN-EMA (TOM866/7) are operated by a Boeing 767-300/ER. I wont know until May if it'll be of the former First Choice or Thomsonfly configuration. You'll find further aircraft details on out What Aircraft? guide (see below). You can upgrade to AVOD (pause, stop, rewind etc) for £5 per seat in economy. You'll be able to select your seat online from about 9 weeks prior to your departure date (I did mine 2 weeks ago!).

Hi Darren

Do you know if the new films for Jan/Feb are on the planes yet?

I fly to Mexico from Gatwick on Saturday and was wondering what films/tv to expect

Thanks

rickyrick,

IFE for Jan/Feb is listed here (half way down the page, post by BY-TOM-AMM-FCA)

There were some delays with switching over on the aircraft due to the snow, but hopefully now these have been all sorted

Hi, I'm amazed that anyone knows which plane is going where etc. but as someone does, can I ask a question? We are flying from Birmingham to Punta Cana in April on flight TOM284, is this a ex Thomson or ex First Choice plane? Also, We've booked premium seats and would like to reserve seats on the 'loo' side of the plane, does anyone know where's best to sit ( I was thinking 2nd row - not behind bulkhead but next row)? Any pictures available?

Thanks, you guys really are amazing knowing all this stuff!

BHX-POP-BHX (TOM284/5) are operated by a former Thomsonfly Boeing 767-300/ER. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (see below). The premium cabin toilet is located at the front of the cabin on the port (left) side, so seats around the A/B or C/D side will be best.

BethR,

GLA-SSH-GLA (TOM782/3) are operated by a Boeing 757-200. These have ceiling mounted screens over the isle. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (see below).
