From reading all the past post it seems you are the man in the know.
I was hoping you would be able to let me know if I would be flying on a Thomson plane or an Ex First Choice plane. We are travelling to Holguin (Cuba) on the 26th June 2010 from Manchester Flight Number TOM108. We are travelling Premium economy and I was hoping to find out it there are 33 seats of 70 seats.
Thanks for any information you can offer.

Welcome onboard
None of the above!! It's too early to know which configuration will be used on your flights as the winter and summer seasons often differ. I'll know in May if you want to remind me. The ex-Thomsonfly aircraft have 31 premium seats, the ex-First Choice 63. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (see below).

Welcome onboard
Please quote dates of travel when asking for information as it sometimes various through the season. MAN-RMF-MAN (TOM874/5) are operted by a Boeing 757-200 (winglets). These don't have seat back IFE, they have ceiling mounted screens above the isle. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (see below).

BHX-PFO-BHX (TOM7728/9) are operated by a Boeing 757-200. Seating is personal preference. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (see below).

Thanks Darren,
just a quickie. I'm taking 3 young children away in the summer, do airlines make a point of sitting you together as young children sitting with strangers can be pretty daunting. Or is it a case of if you don't pre book the seats it's every man / woman / child for themselves
cheers
When you say young children, how young? Each infant, ie under 2 years old on the day of travel, must be accompanied by an adult. You may not be permitted to travel with just yourself if you have more than one below 2 years old. There's no regulation to say the airline must sit you together, but it's a recommendation (CAA) that they do in case of evacuation. Thomson Airways pre-allocate seating the day before using a complicated best-fit model taking in to account passengers travelling with children, so the majority of passengers will be seated together. However, due to the nature of aircraft seating, it's inevitable some will be seperated by an isle or maybe a few rows. For peace of mind, that's what pre-booking seating together or select your seat is for. It's up to you whether you want to pay the extra for peace of mind.
Darren
Welcome
Thomson Airways allocate seats on a best fit model, the day before you fly. The computer software takes into account many different variable and one of them is whether or not you have young children travelling with you. Most aircraft are configured 3-3 (it depends where you are going ?). If it is on one of these aircraft then you will have to be split seeing as there will be 4 of you. They will normally put 3 on one side of the aisle and then 1 on the other.
If you have flight numbers, I can check and see what aircraft will be operating your flight and then you will know the seating configuration.
However for that extra peace of mind, you could pre book seats

Edit : Darren just beat me and has some very good information about under 2's
there will be 5 of us going altogether though not sure if that makes a difference.I know you can pre book seats and thats when i thought if everyone does we'll be sat where there are spaces, which could mean being the complete end of the aircraft to at least 2 of the children.
flight is TOM7328
BHX-MAH-BHX (TOM7328/9) are operated by a Boeing 757-200. If you pre-book seating together, all those under your booking reference will be seated together.
Darren
that means nothing to me i'm afraid. Does that mean it's a good one???????????
You replied too quickly! I was just about to add, you'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (see below).
Darren
the point i was trying to make was if i don't pre book my seats then we could be sat all over the place. So unless anyone knows different i will have to pre book them ? or does Thomson automatically put young children together with the adults they are travelling with.
gla-lrm-gla 767-300 ex first choice but version 1 or 2 looking into booking seats if i log into my booking it automatically has us in row 13 cde if i dont pre book will this mean that the seats i will be allocated quite a few seats with ted crosses on them already flying 7th march
please could anyone advise- thomson flight- manchester to punta cana, which seat numbers have a little extra leg room- other than door seats, also do you know which plane we will be going on
thankyou
