allymc1,

We won't be able to tell you until the day before. Only one aircraft is version 1, 5 are version 2 so chances are, it'll be version 2. All TOM138/9 charters so far have been V2, but that's no guarantee it will be.

jnay10,

Please quote flight numbers when possible as there's often multiple flights. When are you travelling? There are two flights per week in the winter season from MAN; TOM136/7 and TOM114/5 depending on dates of travel and two in the summer season; TOM104/5 and TOM126/7. Flights are operated by a Boeing 767-300/ER. I can't say which configuration without knowing when you are tavelling and on which flight. Only extra legroom seating have any extra room, and the premium cabin. Apart from that, all seats are the same. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (see below).

I have booked a holiday with an agent going from Bham to tenerife( south ). We are flying out on 24th October on TOM7718 @ 07:00 and returning on 31st October @12:25 TOM 7719.
Whilst I can find this flight on one web site I cant pick it up on any other search engines or the Thomson web site and I was lookig to add 1 passenger one-way only. Can you help please

britabroad,

It might be worth giving Thomson a call although it could be Thomsons flight only allocation is full (hence no availability on the website) while others still have availability on the flight. The booking process can be a little complication, for example Thomson may have say 75% of seats on the aircraft for their passengers while say Thomas Cook have 15% and another agent 10%.

Hi
Darren kindly told me that my flight to Sharm will be on a Boeing 757-200. Now Thomsons have emailed us to reserve our seats. Can anyone tell me which seats would be best to get a view from the window (not extra space seats). I can't tell where the wings are from the seat plan. :que
Many thanks

BethR,

Seating is personal preference. All the seats are the same in terms of facilities, seat pitch and comfort so it makes little difference really. The exception are extra legroom seats. Any seat in the front (rows 1-11) or rear cabin (32-41) will offer good views without having the wing in the way. I'm the oposite, I like having the wing / engine in view for photography reasons so my next flights are on row 14, right next to the RB211-535E4 turbofan! Any row behind about 25 in the centre cabin will still offer views but you'll have some of the wing in the way.
