doz123,

MAN-SSH-MAN (TOM572/3) are operated by a Boeing 767-300/ER (winglets). These are configured 2-4-2. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

We most certainly can:

Your flights TOM2350/1 are operated by an Airbus A321-200

More information on this aircraft type and on Thomson Airways can be found on our What Aircraft? Thread (linked in my signature)

janefulton,

Please quote flight numbers when requesting aircraft information as there are several flights. Are you on the TOM052/3 out of Gatwick? If you are, it's operated by a former First Choice Bowing 767-300/ER currently so no, row 9 won't have a window.

bluemoon,

It's only row 9 in the premium cabin that doesn't have a window on the ex-FCA's (767-300/ER). Row 9 is approximately under the 'CE' of First Choice in this photo. As you can see, all rows infront have windows. BY-TOM-AMM-FCA usually posts the current IFE listing when it's released (1st March for March / April). If not, I'll post it when I'm back from Egypt on 17th March.

Does the 737-800 actually have any IFE? x

Yep it has overhead screens and a lovely skymap shown on occasion (G-FDZS did anyway)

racegirl3075,

As FlyingHigh has mentioned IFE, is provided by overhead monitors.

LGW-ACE-LGW (TOM4208/9) are operated by a Boeing 737-800 (winglets).

Oops just go's to prove that we realy won't have confirmation of a/c type till we are at the gate tWas a 757 200 no winglets, I'll assume I have this beast to look forward to now this Tuesday coming home lol

Stuart K,

Odd flights do change at the last minute for operational reasons that aren't scheduled. This can be for many reasons. We take aircraft information from Thomson Airways own aircraft schedule so is accurate at the time of posting. TOM4208/9 are scheduled to be operated by a 73H from 03/11/2009 until 23/03/2010 where it then gets the larger 75W for the remaining 5 weeks of the winter season. I suspect your aircraft was changed at the last minute to prevent a delay or upgraded based on demand.

LGW-SSH-LGW (TOM794/5) are operated by a Boeing 757-200 (winglets). You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). All seats are standard and seating is personal preference. There aren't any 'best' rows as all seats offer the same facilities other than extra legroom seating. I'm off to Luxor / Hurghada on the same aircraft next week. While they aren't ideal for 5+ hour flights, they're adequate in terms of inflight facilities and comfort so no, you aren't in for a terrible flight.
