Thanks Darren
I didn't realise Dalaman is classed as long haul (or am i looking at the wrong bit) or are they just using a long haul plane?
Dalaman (Turkey) isn't long haul, it's classed as short (mid) haul. Although you're on a Boeing 767-300/ER that is a medium to long range twin jet, they are often used on high density (popular) routes in a short haul 328 seat configuration.

First time using the site but looks like one I iwll make use of for a long time
Just wondering if you can give me any info about flights my wife and I will be on for our holiday to Cuba in May. We booked through first Choice and on confirmation flights are:
Outbound: TOM108 09:15
Return: TOM109 17:20
We are booked in Premium and would like to knowwhat seating config would be and best seats for 2 people, also do you know if booking through FC can you select seat 90 days before or is this only for thomson bookings?
Last question, when and how do we find out movies for the flight, that's a question for the wife not me
Welcome onboard
MAN-HOG-MAN (TOM108/9) are operated by a Boeing 767-300/ER, probably from the former First Choice fleet. You'll find further aircraft details including photos and seating plans on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). Seating is configured 2-3-2 so one of the pairs by the windows will probably be best for you. Seating is personal preference however. First Choice and Thomson merged in 2008 so it doesn't matter who you booked with, your flights are operated by their airline, Thomson Airways and seat selection is available from 90 days before your departure date. IFE for May/June is released on 1st May.

LGW-MLE-LGW TOM54/55 I guess is the former First Choice 767-300ER......I have seats 9A&B.....is the 'No window' thing definite?
Thanks.....great site.
Welcome
Your flights (TOM054/055) are indeed operated by a Former First Choice Boeing 767-300ER.
Dazbo HT Mod wrote:It's only row 9 in the premium cabin that doesn't have a window on the ex-FCA's (767-300/ER). Row 9 is approximately under the 'CE' of First Choice in this photo. As you can see, all rows infront have windows.

There are a couple of rows, approximately 9/10 and 12 that don't have windows. Anything forward of them and to the rear of 16 you're fine.

Darren thank you very much for you help
Thanks for your help Darren, much appreciated
I'm new to the forum
I'm flying to Mombassa in May and have just booked my seats on the Thomson B736-300 VI plane.
We booked seats 27A & 27B as these are directly infront of the exit, so assuming no one behind us to recline our seats into?!?
Can anyone advise if these are good seats or not as i've read that some have no windows or reclining seatbacks?
Thanks
Welcome onboard
Seating is personal preference and other than extra legroom seating, seats offer the same seat pitch and facilities so it makes little difference. The seats you have chosen are fine and yes, you'll be able to recline your seats fully without interferring with those behind on row 27. Those seats have windows, it's row 9 and 16 that don't.

Hiya, a friend of mine is flying Manchester-Sharm el Sheikh- manchester monday the 15th @9.25am and returning monday evening the following week (22/3/10) (TOM876/877). Can anyone tell me what kind of aircraft and registration operating this flight. Also could you tell from where this aircraft is arriving from prior to it flying to sharm? Thanks.
Any idea which 757-200 is operating Birmingham /Sal on the 9th March.
Tickets for our Holguin flight (TOM094) arrived a couple of weeks ago but still no sign of our travel cards, flight is on Monday 8th, do they normally come late or should I have them by now?
TIA
gc
very late - about 4 days before we were due to fly. We got the run around from Customer Services when I phoned who claimed they had been sent with the tickets. As a back up plan I had arranged with them to pick up blanks at their desk before checking in but in the event that wasn't needed. Suggest you ring them as no post over the weekend!
Last year they arrived Registrations of aircraft are not really obtainable as they can change up until the last minute. Sometimes its possible though providing you know the route it operates previously but even still...it can change.

757-200 Winglets - No registration available although last monday it was operated by G-OOBD and has been changing weekly. From what i can see (others can correct me if im wrong) its route before that was MAN-SSH-MAN arriving in the early hours of the 1st march.
Qatarman
The last 5 flights have been operated by G-OOOZ then had a break of a couple of weeks then were G-OOOZ again. Its not guaranteed by any means and can change but looks likely.
Thanks flying high. Any idea where dazbo has gone on his hols?
Tom052 - Gatwick to Goa - I know the flight is an ex-FCA plane. Can anyone let me know what kind of headphones they supply? Do they loan them / give them / sell them? Are they "in the ear" or "over the head" and are they 2-pin ones?
Hope you've had a great holiday!
Thanks for the info. What you can't see when you prebook your seats is where the toilet and galley are, but, as you say, we should be fine wherever we sit. Can't wait now, just hoping Harry Potter in Universal will be open!
