I put the link to the Thomson Airways schedule for the Dreamliner on our What Aircraft? guide (link below) last week so you can see which flight's it's scheduled to be used on.

pallan,

MAN-AYT-MAN (TOM512/437) are showing as operated by Boeing 767-304/ER / Boeing 757-200 respectively on your dates. Seating is personal preference, other than extra legroom, all seats offer the same basic facilities. Avoid the rear row in the forward cabin and the first 5 in the centre cabin if you want a window as a couple of rows don't.

MAN-VRA-MAN (TOM172.3) are operated by ex-FCA Boeing 767-300/ER.

I was lucky enough to fly on one of the first Thomson (Brittania) 767s, way back when they first got them - East Midlands all the way to Palma Majorca in 1985. First time I'd ever had IFE on their airline also, though it was on only a few large central screens and the sound came through really weird airtube headphones!

So I was really looking forward to the 787 in 2013, unfortunately I've already booked Mexico for January so I'll not get one then

BEfreeTODAY,

Re: TOM4668/4669 LGW-FUE-LGW:

Unfortunately not as its a B737-800.

I thought the chance of an extra legroom freebie on the A321 seemed too good to be true... oh well! Here's hoping I might get one of the newer A/C with a sky interior as a consolation... according to a source, it's being operated by G-TAWI tonight, so maybe... just maybe...!

EMA-SFB-EMA (TOM676/7) are operated by former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. You'll find extensive aircraft information including seat plans, aircraft and cabin photos, seat inforamation and a link to the current IFE, on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Hi last year from GLA - PUJ we were on an ex-Thomsonfly 767 with the 283 configuration. This year we're flying to CUN on TOM866 in August, will this be an ex-TOM like last year's schedule was or will it be an ex-FCA that operates the Glasgow long-haul flights this summer?

Thanks :)

monarch A321,

It's an ex-FCA 763 operating from EMA/BHX/GLA/NCL/BRS/EDI this summer.

Just wanted to double check the flight before TOM196 this Wednesday, Manchester to Cancun.

From my previous post I was informed that TOM0122 (Man to Cun) on 8 May flies back to another airport instead of Manchester but then flies back on to Manchester empty. After some detective work I think it flies back to Glasgow as TOM0867 and the plane which flies Glasgow to Cancun on May 8th (TOM0866) must be the one that does TOM0123 instead.

I just wondered if there has been any changes to this? I will presumably be checking to see if TOM0122 departs on time and then TOM0867 on the return.

athertona2k,

There's been no change to the schedule that I'm aware of, subject to any last minute ammendments or technical issues.

Can anyone tell me what the food is like and what the choice is on flights to florida

woodworm,

You'll be served with a 4 course cooked meal, normally a choice of chicken or beef with a choice of tea or coffee approximately 2 hours after take-off followed by a snack box, again served with tea or coffee 90 minutes before landing. You'll find some examples here. If you have any special dietry requirements, for example gluten free or vegetarian, these can be pre-booked online using your booking details or by calling Thomson Airways.

Hello Darren. I did a recky today and I think the 15:55 was running late and was infant a 757 200 series circa 16:25

1) was it
2) will it

Thanks

Strid,

TOM628 was operated by G-FDZX (Boeing 737-800) yesterday. A couple of flights seem to have a typo on the schedule I have and should be 738 rather than 733.

Hi Darren

I'm flying on tom2142 on 9th July and have a few question....

Do you know what planes (reg) will be covering this yet?
So you know what reg plane did the flight this morning?

Also, i noticed it says departing from terminal 2 from Manchester! I thought this was for international flights like virgin etc? Only ever been terminal 1!

lighty89,

MAN-MAH-MAN (TOM2142/3) are operated by Boeing 737-800. It's impossible to know aircraft registrations this far out. The airline's unlikley to know at this stage either! Aircraft are swapped and changed weekly for operational reasons, only the type is known this far out. G-TAWC may have operated it this morning, but it's of no relevance to your flight in July. Thomson have been operating all flights out of T2 for years. Flights aren't split between the terminals by destination / flight length, all flights of respective airlines are based out of one of the terminals.

Menorca is of course an international destination too!
