buzzer14,

It'll be the same type, but not necassarily the same aircraft (registration). Aircraft are swapped and changed pretty much weekly. I'll normally know the one being used the day before. G-OOAN is operating out of BHX at the moment, it's operating BHX-MBJ-BHX (TOM644/5) before operating to Cancun (TOM374/5) tomorrow and Sanford (TOM374/5) on Friday.

Hi Darren

You asked me to ask this question again Mid May, so here goes

I am flying Tom 196 -Man/ Cun on the 04th July.

Could you please tell me where this plane is inbound from prior to becoming the Cancun departure?

many thanks

jonboywirral,

The flight prior should be TOM122/3 from Cancun or TOM168/9 from sanford.

Darren,Do you know if the adverse weather tomorrow will affect the flights at Newcastle airport?

Jay Trip,

I'm not a weather forecaster! But I wouldn't have thought so, no. There's nothing too bad forecast for the area. Apart from some rain, heavy at times, visibility and winds are well within limits so no major issues for commercial aircraft.

Hi Guys,

I'm currently sat at Gatwick after spending 3hrs on a plane that's suffering technical issues (TOM028 if anyone's interested!). We've just been offloaded and told that another aircraft is being flown down from Manchester so that we can depart at approx. 5:15pm. Does anyone know what aircraft it's likely to be and the seating config?

Thanks!

Soulfish,

I hope you get away promptly later on today. It'll likely be a former Thomsonfly 767-300/ER operating your flight and don't be surprised if it's a short haul configured aircraft. I know it's not ideal, but it's better to get away onboard one of those than have an even longer delay.

Have a great holiday :cheers :cry

Hello Darren.

Any form of IFE en route to Dalaman. Prob 738, 27th May from MAN?

Nothing I'm afraid, according to research Thomson customers don't value or want IFE on their flights....

Hi
Just wondering if it's too early to know what plane will be operating Manchester to Cancun on 8 September and Cancun to Manchester 22 September- TOM 144 & TOM145?
Thanks :cheers

IFE information is on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). IFE was removed from aircraft from November 2011.

Welcome onboard :tup
GLA-CUN-GLA (TOM866/7) are operated by former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). The aircraft comes in from Sanford (TOM517) before operating your flight.
