Pedestrians can still get through for the time being but alas its going to be shut all together like the Bougainvillea street in Pablo Canarias soon. This means that the bars etc will shut too. this includes Harley's American diner.
I'll up date this thread when things develop.
PS. Why do we locals call it "Poo Dust Street"? Well, after a storm Torviscas high street is where all the poo from the drains collects. Then a day later when the sun comes back out it dries up. Then we locals drive along the road and it kicks up, what the tourists think is a 'Calima' (sand storm), but its not sand... its dried poo. That's why me and Mrs Makum nerver eat on that street!
Also be careful when exiting junction 30 to go toward Torviscas Alto and loop over the Mway bridge. Immediately after the sharp bend you now have to give way. (Since wednesday last week). you cant now go over the bridge, but must go straight on and under the next one then down to Torviscas past the Jacaranda hotel.
