Hi there, Having two young children & always taking them on hols I'm sure you'll find it a piece of cake! Smaller children usually travel very well, sleep almost all the way on the flight as they would in a car etc. You will be allowed to pack dried baby milk, you can also buy ready made cartons to use in an emergency & boots sell pre-sterilised bottles. When we took my son at 7 months we took a large tupperware box with a lid & a bottle of milton fluid. We cold water sterilised all his bottles & dummies this way using bottled water. (don't bother with the sterilising bags that you fill with water - they're a nightmare & you usually slop more water out of them than anything else).
So...you can buy a small bottle of washing up liquid to wash bottles (don't forget the brush!!) rinse in bottled water & sterilise in your milton. We took a travel kettle - filled our required, sterilised bottles up with JUST WATER for the day (about 4 -5 bottles at a time) and had a small tub that would dispense the correct number of scoops of milk and added it before we needed it. That way we didn't need to refrigerate the bottles of water - plus they would stay round about room temp so didn't need warming!!
We found everything could be bought in the shops in Alcudia but we took everything anyway!!. Just beware that although wipes & Pampers can be bought they can be VERY expensive. Spanish equivalent wpies were lovely but the nappies tend to be plastic backed so little bottoms can sweat!
You can buy a variety of jarred food both spanish (which my son enjoyed ) and british in most supermarkets, but to be honest the beauty of the hotel was being able to let him sample all the different foods - pasta, vegetables etc without me having to cook it all. If he didn't like the taste of something well it didn't matter.
Go and have a great time - children travel far better than you think they will - mine are 6 & 4 now and are MUCH harder!!
