Thanks for that info Gregg. Just wondered if the cabin crew made any announcement to let people know what was happening?

I went with Thomas cook, and it was them that gave us the forms to fill in and they also told us what to expect, which they were right,

people i met in lykia world had there flight with onur air and globalspan air from scotland, they too were given the forms just after take off and told the same.

really it's nothing to worry about, just fill in the form, one for each member in your party and do what you would normally do on arrival, just dont have a flush or sweat !!

Just returned from belek through Antallya,we got the same forms to fill in on the way out ,a bit stupid really they wait untill you are mid air and ask you if you have been in contact with anyone with swine flu ,as if anyone is going to say yes and if they do what will they do throw you out the window .There was no sort of precautions in the airport and the only people who should be wearing masks are the people who work in the duty free .The prices are getting dreadfull 75eu for a perfume you can get in semi chem for £12 :yikes

everyone before you went thru passport control were wearing masks and gloves, after passport control it was not seen at dalaman airport and yes the prices are stupid !! £4.00 for a small coffee, it said on cup nescafe but it was a cheap make in the cup !!

dont let it bother you, go and enjoy the lovely sunshine, heat and the pubs n clubs, or just be lazy by the pool !!

I agree, the more informed people are about airport prices etc, the less disappointed they will be!

Thanks for that information, had my tickets emailed to me today, this time two weeks I'll be in the air!

Sounds a bit OTT, but still hopefully won't go all hot when I walk through the thing! What happens if you are too hot, do they send you home?

The way that Swine Flu is spreading just now, quite a few of us heading out over the summer will have been infected or been in contact with someone who has the flu. Glasgow and Birmingham seem hot spots just now. Being Frank we fly out in six weeks, better if we get it now and then get over it! I may not have to wait as two folk from work are in quarantine just now. Atchoooo

I am so worried about the Swine Flu Testing, Can anyone tell me what happens if you do show signs of illness? Do you get sent home?!

The following statement is taken from the Foreign Office web site regarding Turkey.

As a precaution, Turkish authorities are using thermal sensors to monitor the temperature of all passengers arriving in Turkey. Those with temperatures may be tested at the airport or transferred to a hospital for testing. Depending upon other symptoms, until results are available (normally 12-24 hours), passengers may be asked to remain at the hospital or at their hotel.

Hi

Thank you for that quote, Thats makes it a little clearer, although I'm not sure about going to hospital! Still nothing about what happens after that, although if it was an immediate flight home i'm sure it would state that (hopefully!)

Anyway thanks again
