if anyone has been or going to travel to the binimar, could you please let me know if you can upgrade from self catering to half board and if you can let me know how much it is, i am travelling on the 7th aug and would like to know this. thanx. keith.

thats no good you will just have to go earlier!! 
There's an option to book Half Board in the Airtours brochure so I guess there's a good chance that you can!
Last year we went to a Barcelo Aparthotel, booked half board up front only to find that we could have done so on a daily basis which would have given us the option to have a couple of meals out at no loss. Might be worth trying to do that!?
