Now now jwhiting...just remember there's 2 people in the relationship!
We stayed at Paris about a year and a half ago and really liked it. I also enjoy wandering around in the casino, walkway to Bally's, and I'm happy about the proximity to Miracle Mile, and possiblity of a view of the fountains.
Thanks Luci for checking for me!
So who goes first then?
I think Luci and Pebbles are there the same time give or take a few days
and I think someone else mentioned they would be there but I can't remember who
Sorry whoever you are
I do apologise
I really want to stay at the Encore for 1 night somewhere in the middle. Found an excellent rate of $286 for 2 nights, but you must stay a minimum of 2 nights and I only want to stay for one if I am not checking out of my original hotel. All the one night rates are much higher.

Signature
Tell me more! I tried one of the management sites to see if I could get a better rate, but they were much higher. Perhaps they will come down nearer the time.
look forward to hearing about the signature, have been looking at a week there in november. Is it best to book sooner or later? And aside from trips around to hoover, GC etc. What is there to do in the day in Vegas. Do people wonder casino to casino? Sunbathe? I know there are shows etc to taken was just wondering whats for doing when you dont want to do anything? (if that makes sense!!)
If you haven't been before then sightseeing round that various casinos will take up a fair part of your days. There are also daytime shows. I'm not sure how we use up our day's, but we are never ready to come home at the end of it.

I've just done a review for the Sig.......sorry it took so long!!
Are you going to try the $20 trick at Paris? I have read it gets you a strip view at least. We have made our bookings through London Clubs and then linked them over the phone. The girl asked if I had any special requests so I asked about strip view and she said she'd put it on. I also asked for a fridge $10 per night. We got a fridge at the Orleans before, also $10 per night.
Do you know if they have airport check in? I have emailed them, but no reply yet. Thought I may have a better chance there.

Looks like they do have airport check in........

I would still try it with $20. We only ever did $20 at Planet Hollywood and it always got us an upgrade, sometimes for 11 nights! I cannot tell online which rooms are specifically strip view - ie they don't seem to have a strip view version of each room type - so maybe it's just your luck where you're placed.
Thanks for the review TeeCee, it was very useful. I hope we get a balcony as I forgot to request one on the booking.

As far as I am aware, from a similar topic on TA recently, there is only the MGM that offers airport check in - all the others have closed.
Thanks Suzy. I hadn't heard it mentioned for a while so thought it may have stopped.
How easy was it to get a taxi from the Signature to the airport? I'm guessing there is not a taxi rank outside with it not having a casino.

My mum & dad are going back in November this year hopefully (we all have the bug but they can afford it) and its really interesting seeing some of these rates its a bit of an eye opener.
We went for 10days last year (and threw in a wedding & vow renewal) but I think they may try for 14 days I thought even all that travel was to long for 10 days. It worked out at 33 hours from leaving our house to planting out butts at the IP.

Hi Luci,

Thinking of staying at Planet Hollwood £417 for the week, seems a good price as some companies are charging nearer a grand
I can't remember the month you are going but I do remember it is summer. August sees rates drop considerably because it is deemed too hot for most people so there is serious value to be had then. Question has to be, will you find a rate better than $85 a night (and that includes tax) by leaving it until a few months before travelling? I'm not so sure on this one. I personally would book that deal and stop looking (so as to avoid the pain if you find it cheaper nearer the time).
If you go with PH, make sure you sign up to the A Card (you can do it online or wait until you get there). By doing this you get a lovely booklet of offers including free and BOGOF drinks, free blackjack tournament, free slot pull, money off in food outlets and restaurants and $5 free slot play (amongst other things). Well worth doing it.
