littlekev ... if you look at the navigation bar at the top of this page, you should see Photo Galleries. If you click on that, then click on the Upload Album, and then select 'add photos' from the drop down menu, I think that should be it. (I have never used it !! )

Just thought i would let everyone know that the new superfamily hotel in Tenerife the Villa Mandi (situated on the golf resort) is superb!

As for all the old reviews on this hotel they are based on it being an international hotel and didnt have any entertainment!!!!

There is entertainment now!!!! Chris and Jodie are excellent in entertaining the kids and all you adults too!!!!

Really nice hotel, friendly staff and a good location, away from the hustle and bustle but only a 5 minute walk away from the heart of it all!!!

This hotel was truly magnificent even without the entertainment. We went last september and could not believe the standard of accomadation and the grounds it is set in. You are between both Los Cristianos [lovely beaches] and Las Americas[ brill nightlife for families], so you will love it.
The prices have rocketed this year because it is now a superfamily resort. Shame.

Glad the opinions about Villa Mandi are so good. I am going with my wife and two kids (8 and 2) in July and we are really looking forward to it.

We were in a Thomson Superfamily hotel in Zakynthos last year and the entertainment was superb. If the kids are happy then that's half the battle.

I was a rep in Tenerife only a few months back and the Villa Mandi stood out to me for its superb location, not in the middle of everything but only a five minute walk into resort!

Anyone that is going, make yourself aware to the handsome young entertainer Chris! Get winning those Thomson Superfamily T shirts and furthermore dont forget to fill in your customer satisafction questionnaire on the way home, it makes a difference to Chris and Jodie!

Just arrived back from a fantastic 2 weeks at the Villa Mandi. What an amazing holiday. All the kids reps were brill, Chris and Jodie made our holiday, we had a great laugh with them both. My other half brought back 3 super family T-Shirts, and a Thomson the dog medal !!!

Walking into Las Americas and Los Cristianos took us about 20 minutes though, but maybe there are short cuts? But it was a nice walk anyway.

Hotel is fab, and the rooms are so big and have lovely views of the golf course. Anyone going will have a brill time.

Wish we were still there!

Just got over three weeks 'til we fly out and can't wait. Glad you enjoyed your holiday.

Nice to hear the reps were so good. We had excellent reps last year in Zante who really made the holiday. If anyone had told me before we went that I would have been up on stage doing "The Court of King Caractacus" I would never have believed it.

I managed to get a Thomson Superfamily t-shirt last year, but a Thomson the Dog medal, that's another challenge.

What age are your kids and would you recommend any restaurants/bars?

My kids are aged 7 and 1, so the youngest couldn't go to the kids club. But there is soft play for the little ones which he loved. The oldest loved the kids club, sometimes he went for 2 hours in the morning, 2 hours in the afternoon, and some evenings they have a drop in 7pm - 9pm, so there is loads for them to do. We also went with another family who have a son aged 3, and he went to the kids club also and loved every minute of it. The reps are really great.

We went to eat at Harleys American Diner in Las Americas a few times. It is really nice food, and you get loads on your plate, just ask the taxi driver to take you to Harleys. Taxi cost us approx about 7 Euros each way. We also had a meal at this place in Las Americas (can't remember the name) but it was in a castle overlooking the sea. We had a Carvery, and I must say it was absolutely gorgeous. We all had the biggest plate full of food, real value for money.

If you play water polo, get on the bandanas team as they always win!! (That's Chris the reps team)

We have been trying to get a late deal for August but there is not much going as we are restricted to 1 weekend when we can fly.

We have been offered the Villa Mandi for 1 week flying from Glasgow for £1230. 2 adults and 2 children self catering.

This would mean travelling from North East England to Glasgow for the flight.
Do you think the travel down to Scotland would be worth this accomodation.

My other worry is travelling out every night to eat, we normally go half board and stay in the hotel most nights.

Mate I would definitly go for it we stopped there last year b4 it was a thomson superfamily, fantastic even then well worth it!!!

Have just booked to go here end of August 2 adults and 2 children for 7 nights.

Any dos and don'ts to make our holiday better.

Were the appartments full and was there a rush for sun beds in the morning.?

Did you find it a problem with the distance to the resorts and do you have any recommendations for places to eat? Did you try the Villa Mandi restaurant. ?
