We sent our passports off to a agent in bolton YOURTRAVELSHOP.COM on the 5th oct for visa's to be added and to this day 16th nov we still have'nt had them back.
I have been told so many different stories every time i ring that i don't know who to believe.
Firstly i filled in a visa form for birmingham and now have been told they are in the LONDON consulate which i find hard to believe.
We are due to fly out on the 23rd nov to GOA and our son on the 24th they say we are sending our collegue's out every day to the consulate but theres a back log then theres the one about they are doing the visa's by your travel date what aload of c***.There's a load of H/Ts on here that have got theirs back WHO are going after me AND who sent theirs after me so wheres mine then.
I have been in touch with Ros Fernihough who says i should go to the consulate but my husband has health problems so thats out of the question.
I have informed the police just in case they have been stolen who knows what's happened to them and they say they can't help just get on to them every day which is what i've done till i'm sick.I have to phone in the morning to see if they are in tonites batch i won't hold my breathe.I will never use yourtravelshop.com ever again.
Has anyone any advice they can give?
The Indian Embassy is currently having horrific problems. I hear they are processing 2,000 visa's a day - but are receiving over 4,000.

Have you got your visas yet? If not then Sam is right, you must go the embassy and sort it.
I've dealt with quite a few indian visas for my company and the embassy is well known for problems with issue. We always use an agency who actually physically take the forms etc to the embassy for us and collect the visas but there are always queues and sometimes they don't get anything. To be fair this sounds like what they are doing if they say they are sending people daily.

Travelling Sam we could'nt really go to the consulate has we did'nt know which one they were at.One day it was BIRMINGHAM the next LONDON.

Sleep R Us , I live in Bolton and have never heard of this travel company, what was the address you sent the passports to?. Just been on their site and when you click on OUR PROFILE it states "Coming soon", Let me know and I will try and find out who they are. Cheers Jayjan
shamus as I can't edit my previous post they may just be an internet company but surely they must have had an address you posted the passports to. Did you post them to a Bolton address? Cheers Jayjan
