I think my reply said it all thanks anyway
Just read about the alcohol policy. Can we really not take anything on board? I was planning to include a bottle of champagne for our anniversary.
Sue
Hope you're all ok !
Sue, I did take 2 bottles of champagne with me in my checked in luggage on Holland America a couple of years ago. I'd bought the champagne in duty free at manchester airport and had a flight via chicago to seattle. I had to pass through immigration in chicago, and they made me pack the champagne in my hold luggage before flying on to Seattle. Anyway, to cut a long story short - they never opened the luggage and so I had the champagne in my cabin for a couple of celebrations. If you do buy some champers, the worst that can happen, is that they remove it from your luggage and store it until you disembark at Harwich.
Nick ! Just wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday - hope you have a great day mr.
Been doing some last minute shopping today, got family and friends visit tomorrow night, then a day to pack and prepare before heading to Gatwick. :-)
Rgds, Drew
I was thinking that. At worst they'll take it away until we get home.
Last day at work, then I can focus on packing!
Meet you all soon.
Regards
Sue

Sorry, forgot to say Happy Birthday to Nick.
Still at work ! grrrr!, finish in an hour, then packing tonight!
Hope everyone's ready for Sunday!
Good to talk to you again Phil & see you all on the flight/ship !
I'm not too worried about the WJ closure now, let's just see what RC come up with as an alternative - it may be good !
