It depends on the hotel, but nomally 2 flat pins (american style). Voltages are 110v, some have 220v as well.

Hi, as Dazbo says re the plugs and yes your straighteners will work, although i found mine not to get quite as hot as they do at home.

I think the Cuban hotel I stayed at was 220 volts and my GHD's worked perfectly, as if they would in England.

It can vary between hotels - the standard voltage in Cuba is 110v but some of the hotels have their own generators or use 'step-up' transformers and hence have a 220v supply in which case things like haor straightners will get as hot as they do at home. But if it's a 110v supply they will work and won't be damaged but will never get quite as hot as you're used to.
